Marky-G Posted 3 September, 2009 Share Posted 3 September, 2009 balcombe bowling like a complete spanner, being polite, ervine no better, plus 3 dropped catches, how many times do we give cook easy runs

chrisobee Posted 3 September, 2009 Author Share Posted 3 September, 2009 balcombe bowling like a complete spanner, being polite, ervine no better, plus 3 dropped catches, how many times do we give cook easy runs That is strange, Griffiths was shown in the original team. Without him, Dimi and Tremlett our bowling is just not good enough. Ervine is far more of an attacking bowler than someone who can bowl economically. Generally goes at well over 3 in the CC but can take wickets. Still the Pro 40 in it's present guise is no more so since we are not going to win it we need to try to ensure we stay in CC League1. Think the weather will play as big a part as anything else, lots of rain around and not likely to improve this time of year.
