Not particularly bothered if it isn't but would be a bonus if it is.
Colinjb Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 I've just compared it to the signed Picture and Shirt hanging in my lounge and it looks pretty pukker to me mate. Did you win the auction?
Ponty Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Looks like it, as much as they ever do. You should see how many different looking, yet all genuine, Alonso signatures there are knocking around at work.
benjii Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Well, from memory, it looks like a MLT original I've got somewhere.
deadpanmatt Posted 2 September, 2009 Author Posted 2 September, 2009 Yeah I just won the auction. just over £3 including postage!
eurosaint Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 I reckon your £0.99 is safe, but if it is a fake you could always take legal advice and perhaps take it all the way to the high court !!
Colinjb Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Yeah I just won the auction. just over £3 including postage! Nice one mate, didn't realise they where going so cheap.

If it is a fake I'll rip it out and blue tac the figure on my dashboard. If not, I'll keep it all nice and packaged
hamster Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 to be honest and looking at the sellers (100% feedback btw) other items, if he was going to fake an autograph he'd have been better off doing Zidane's. Can I add that I think the figurines are not very accurste in scale, Matt's nose prob wouldn't fit in the box if it were.
westofshannonsaint Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 (edited) Yeah I just won the auction. just over £3 including postage! well done, another example of other people getting bargains on Ebay (its cool even if not genuine, especially for £3*). I only ever get ripped off *actually I would have to take it out of the package & paint on red stripes & cover the england badge before I could ever put it on display, just like my cup final flag folded in such a way that I have the Saints crest on display, but you cant see the Georges cross behind it. All you have to do is search for things and bid on the cheap things. How is it possible to get ripped off on ebay? You can choose your maximum bid! I wouldn't want to paint it, especially since I think the signature is real. I reckon having him in the England kit is kind of making a statement; he should've played more!
westofshannonsaint Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 just clothes & crap that weren't as good as I hoped they would be, still got them cheap, but would be better off if I didn't bother. your right of course MLT should have played more for england & you would be daft to separate the signature, but I don't support England...
Golden Balls Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 Comparing to mine, I'd say yes. Your signature?
Pilchards Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 Comparing to mine, I'd say yes. I had to get my **** out to check mine, yep it's real m8.
skintsaint Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 Item location: Chatham, Kent, United Kingdom ---------- All a bit dodgy
Doctoroncall Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 It doesn't look like mind but then writing on someone's back on a Saints shirt compared to a 2 inch plastic pack would look different.
waggy Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 Comparing to mine, I'd say yes. What, yer nose as big as Matts?
sussexsaint Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 looks like the one I got on the inside cover of the 'Unbelievable' video he signed for me in WH Smiths in the high street along with Dave Merrington. Can't see there is a huge black market to be made with knock off le Tiss autographs TBF
St Landrew Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 looks like the one I got on the inside cover of the 'Unbelievable' video he signed for me in WH Smiths in the high street along with Dave Merrington. Can't see there is a huge black market to be made with knock off le Tiss autographs TBF Same here. It's genuine.
Toomer Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 I have a number of shirts and other items signed by Matt his signature has changed a little over the years, this one looks ok from the period that the item was made.
dellboypete Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120462065785&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_521wt_953 Just won this on ebay and was wondering if it looks like a real autograph to you guys. Not particularly bothered if it isn't but would be a bonus if it is. I'm disgusted () that an MLT Corinthian player and authentic MLT signature goes for only 99p! There I was thinking I was sitting on a retirement fund of similar stuff!
Pancake Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 I think so, just compared it to a betting slip Ive got here about that says "first 60 seconds, 10k" on it too.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 I had to get my **** out to check mine, yep it's real m8. That takes care of the Le but what about the rest of the name?

hamster Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 (edited) Item location: Chatham, Kent, United Kingdom ---------- All a bit dodgy Good job you added the winkey smiley thing skintsaint, else mrs hamster may have had to put a curse on yer. Although tbh, the town is the ****hole of Kent imho.... Charles Dickens was brought up there and liked it apparently!! Having moved there from his birthplace in Pompey, I suppose one would consider Chernobyl a nice place though. Edited 3 September, 2009 by hamster
saints triumph Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 Iv'e got a few Matt autographs that I know are genuine and none of them are exact but similar. Yours would fit that.
Pilchards Posted 3 September, 2009 Posted 3 September, 2009 That takes care of the Le but what about the rest of the name? Yep you are so right, Matthew Le :-)
OfnPanad Posted 4 September, 2009 Posted 4 September, 2009 I think so, just compared it to a betting slip Ive got here about that says "first 60 seconds, 10k" on it too. Controversial!!
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 4 September, 2009 Posted 4 September, 2009 it is 100% correct. please see my new site which is in the progress of being built, any ideas more than welcome. old site http://www.matchworn.com new http://www.footballshirtcollector.com

From your front page; NEW SHIRT'S IN NOW! Apostrophe error! It should read 'NEW SHIRTS IN NOW'. Sorry
