AndyD Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Does anybody know when Murty is due back and Holmes too?
Toomer Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Murty will be out for 3 - 4 months at least.
Asaint4ever Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 murty will be fit in about a month i expect! and for Holmes i 4got we even still had em
Draino76 Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Murty will be out for 3 - 4 months at least. Maybe years.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Let me be the first to provide a really positive comment by stating that having Murty and Holmes back will be like having two new signings. In relation to Holmes, that's not too far from the truth actually.
Toomer Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Maybe years. Thats the trouble with knees and Saints players.

In relation to Holmes, that's not too far from the truth actually. I am going to be even more positively positive, and say that Murty will be back for the Colchester game, and anyone who disagrees is a negative c*nt who never goes to games and who should be driven from the thread and the site.

Verbal Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Why is there no official news on Murty? Or have I missed it?

A double positive is a negative. Sorry Alps, I know you tried.

Draino76 Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Maybe we've just stumbled upon a good song for him. "We're bringing Murty back" The way that Justin Timberlake sings it no?
Bailey Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Still no news on Murty, but to me that suggests it's better than first feared. I'm still not expecting to see him in a Saints shirt for another couple of months though.
mUrph Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 A double positive is a negative. Sorry Alps, I know you tried. Not true. +1 + +1 = 2 It's doubly positive
saint.tom.clancy Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 What about Mclaggon? When is he due back? Thought he was quality last season.
saintj Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 When i went to see the Under 18's play wolves at staplewood last weekend i saw Holmes & Pulis training with them. Holmes looked like he is near to full fitness once more.
S-Clarke Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 What about Mclaggon? When is he due back? Thought he was quality last season. Towards the end of the year /start of new year apparently.
sussexsaint Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 So in actual fact noone knows anything then really want him back up and around soon we would have an awesome back 4 then infront of the leagues best keeper as well what about Mills as well then just to add to the fun?? whens fishy back?
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 The official view for those too lazy to check : http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Suspensions/0,,10280,00.html
Verbal Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 The official view for those too lazy to check : http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Suspensions/0,,10280,00.html I somehow summoned the energy to look - but was clearly too lazy to find it says how long he's out. I think a 'FFS' is called for here.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 I think a 'FFS' is called for here. Fringe Field Switching ? , I don't see the relevance to be honest .
Verbal Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Fringe Field Switching ? , I don't see the relevance to be honest . I think the question of how long he's out is vaguely relevant in some small way. Shouldn't that be known by now - at least as a guess? In any case, the point is, he'll be missed - so sooner he's back the better.
Draino76 Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Not true. +1 + +1 = 2 It's doubly positive Not true. A double positive sounds sarcastic; which is obviously negative.
JustMike Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 the OS is a crock of ****e, no news ever, even echo seems to get it 1st.

He certainly will be missed , you'll get no argument from me on that . As for getting an authoritative answer as to how long he'll be out the silence from our 'ITKers' on here is quit deafening and it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that even the clubs medical staff don't know yet . If you want a guess I'd say the lack of any updates might indicate that the injury may well be career threatening - if we sign a loan RB soon that will be as good indication as any of the seriousness of GM's injury .
mUrph Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Not true. A double positive sounds sarcastic; which is obviously negative. Depends if you say it sarcastically or super excitedly
NickG Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 last updates was not as bad as feared in first couple of days
St Chalet Posted 4 September, 2009 Posted 4 September, 2009 last updates was not as bad as feared in first couple of days Any updates on this? Would feel more confident with him at RB than others.
FloridaMarlin Posted 5 September, 2009 Posted 5 September, 2009 A son of a friend is a lifeguard at The Quays (or whatever it's called these days) swimming pool. Murty was in there on Thursday. He was on crutches and looked a little overweight. He didn't look keen on his aquatic exercise, got in the pool, did a couple of derisory lengths and then got out.

Have you ever tried pushing crutches under water?
