According to the OS... we decide the pricing.

The Ticket Office has drawn up proposals for ticket pricing as follows:

• Adult tickets to cost just £5

• Concessions at £2

• Family of four for £10

• Group discounts applicable upon request (20+ people)

We would very likely run with just two stands but have reserved seating.

Let us know what you think. Any final pricing structure will need to be agreed with the opposing club but we'd like to hear your views on the proposed prices, or any other ideas you may have to help maximize attendances.

Pretty good IMO.

Yep seems reasonable.

Reserved seating would be best IMO

Agreed.

A fiver is pretty reasonable.

£10 for a family of 4 is a bargain.

Maybe if we all email them they'll reduce it to £2 for anyone.

This is old news, they have merely refreshed the story to try and drop the transfer deadline article down the page (like 3 others) as we haven't actually signed anyone.

Thats a good price policy, count me in

You have until Friday 4th to email the club and tell them.

Send your comments via post or email to ksouthwell@saintsfc.co.uk or to Kelly Southwell, The Ticket Office, St. Mary's Stadium, Britannia Road, Southampton, SO14 5FP by Friday 4th September 2009.

I just think there should be a difference in what general sale pay and season ticket holders pay, maybe a free ticket (Although not likely) or class season ticket holders as concessions (£2)

Does come across as a bit of a non story as we won't even know who the opposition will be until after the closing date for feedback, let alone whether we'll be home or away. One thing that isn't clear either is whether they are setting the prices for every round or just IF we are home in round 2?

btw, Colchester (Saturday's visitirs to SMS) were apparently not very good last night against Gillingham according to my sources. Gills were palying at a canter and caught napping for the equaliser. Gills showed some real mettle in coming from behind to win the penalties too, which interestingly come into play if the scores are level after 90 mins, NO extra time in the JPT this year.

Simeon Jackson set to stay at Priestfiled too which surprised many within the club, there were a few raised eyebrows last week when he turned out for the Gills in the League Cup against Blackburn, he's now cup-tied in two competitions so although low key competitions it could knock a few quid off his value come January. Keeping Jackson, who is now basically playing as a lone striker, also bodes well for Paul Scally, as a lot of Gills fans don't trust the ex Millwal ST holder chairman. His partner up front Mark McCammon has only scored 20 goals in 6 seasons!!!!

Colchester also played in front of Adie Boothroyd who will apparently (according to SSN) be unveiled as their new manager tomorrow. He's taking on quite a task imho, and I hope we make that clear to him on Saturday with our first win of the season.

Good prices, when is the draw for the 2nd round? I see the 1st round took place last night.

Don't they do the draw on SoccerAM? So, either this Saturday or next, I would have thought.

£5 is about right for this noddy cup for noddy clubs.

Er, can I just remind you that we are one of those clubs you refer to by account of the fact that we, along with Charlton, Norwich and Leeds United are all in the same division.

It may be a club's only chance of winning silverware at Wembley. Can't see us winning the FA Cup again any time soon

Good call.

We will be facing one of the following:

AFC Bournmouth

Aldershot Town

Exeter City

Hereford United

Northampton Town

Swindon Town

Torquay United

I'd take Aldershot at Home.
