Ticket Office opening hours experiment

Basically, the opening hours are changing for a 4-week trial period from 9-5 to 8-4 as between 4 and 5pm is the quietest time of the day for them and they believe it'll be more convenient for people to go there before work rather than try to leave early or go during a lunch break.

 

It starts on Monday 15th September and will run until Friday 10th October, with a decision made near the end of that period to determine whether it will become a permanent arrangement.

Part of me thinks that if we won a few more games it wouldn't matter if we were just open for 2 hours a week.

Good idea IMO. Another idea would be opening say 8-10, re-opening at 12 til 2 & then opening again 4 til 6.

That one's probably unworkable in reality. While those times may be the busiest periods (although the article states that 4-5 is the quietest period), they wouldn't be able to employ ticket office staff for two hour slots three times during a day.

Perhaps open 8-11 & then 1 til 6 maybe. Just an idea to save on a couple of hours wages paying.

Pointless. Open in the morning/lunchtime through the whole week and then Friday afternoon/early evening on top of it.
