Is it just me or is the transfer window more exciting when it finishes at midnight?

 

Was expecting a Saints signing or two today. Gutted.

yeah last year i remember being in a club, with all the screens showing ssn, and then all these guys walking round going " what the funk robinho signed for city" was jooookes...

Sodje due to sign before window closes according to Tevez888 (a regular contributor) on Echo site. Gradel also being targetted according to same source, though the fee is apparently a sticking point. Not sure where info coming from, or how reliable, but here for your delight and delectation...

2 most important things for me are keep hold of morgan and sign a right winger

 

what's the point of keeping Morgan when all we do is hoof the ball up to Lambert to knock back for a nippy striker that we haven't got?

people keep mentioning sodje and jaidi before window... why? both an be signed any time as can mifsude etc. arghh come on saints even im getting frustrated now!!

because 1 hes one of the ones who doesnt hoof the ball and has the best passing and vision at the club

 

and 2 he has the most pottential of anyone at our club to going 2 big things

u can see his class i really think he will be a full french international one day

You are preaching to the converted but I want to see him leave because just now there's no future for him at SFC, he knows that as well and wants to leave (or so I'm told). We have 2 years of struggle before us and by then he'll be overlooked no matter how well he may play. His style is not for us just now.

yeah ur probly right

but id love too see him stay i can really imigine him being fantastic in a passing team

if he was at someone like arsenal or barca pulling all the strings in midfield

i think if he leaves hell be one of the ones we look back on in a few years as the one that got away

I see on the beeb they are saying that Sheff U are trying to use Brian Howard in exchange for getting James Harper from Reading.

 

Why can't we do a Notts County and get him to sign for us, he's a Saints fan after all. Him and Hammond in the centre mid would be great!
