Dont forget he's out of contract so we're not bound by the transfer deadline as far as he's concerned.

Will be massively disappointed if we have not managed to sign anyone today.I really thought that we would make some progress today and for once was looking forward to Saints being a buyer instead of a seller on the transfer deadline day.

 

I really thought we had a couple of deals almost done with AP saying he wanted a couple of signings in.Now he has left the majority of the Southampton fans disappointed who know we need another winger and striker

 

Now it will no doubt be loans and we have been warned by Charlton fans about this.ie Pardew's obsession with loans.
