ruddick Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Daily Echo have a great live update chat where they will be posting any transfer rumours they get or any that are on Twitter hashtagged with #saintsfc. Await to see how ITK they prove to be but I shall have it open all day in vague hope we see some news there. I believe anything the Echo get rumour wise will appear here and anything Radio Solent gets will appear on Twitter hastagged with #saintsfc so will, by default, also appear here. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4573765.High_hopes_for_new_Saints_arrivals_as_transfer_window_closes/?ref=rss
ruddick Posted 1 September, 2009 Author Posted 1 September, 2009 Although admittedly nowhere near as good as the Sunderland official site version of this - http://www.safc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10281~1783912,00.html
Flyer Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apparently Saints are interested in Agyemang. Hes shockingly bad even for L1.
sambosa75 Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apparently Saints are interested in Agyemang. Hes shockingly bad even for L1. At least it would stop him scoring against us! I like him. Not the most cultured player but got a bit of pace and strength. Always makes our defence panic. Saying that, drizzle makes our defence panic so its probably not saying much but I'd take it.
Jesus Reigned Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apparently Saints are interested in Agyemang. Hes shockingly bad even for L1. Good enough to score twice against us in recent seasons if memory serves me right?!
polegategavin Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apparently Saints are interested in Agyemang. Hes shockingly bad even for L1. Always scored against Saints though.....
OldNick Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Id be happy with him he has always changed games when up against us. A big bullish forward with pace. I know you have seen him more than me but I would have htought he'd be good in our league.
saint_stevo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 i think Agyemang used to score against us a lot tho
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Looks like a load of dross speculation to me...
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang is pretty decent and would do a job.
JibMcdo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang would be a good signing. He always used to score against us if I remember correctly...
saint_stevo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang would be a good signing. He always used to score against us if I remember correctly... Really? first i heard of it
It's There Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 At least it would stop him scoring against us! I like him. Not the most cultured player but got a bit of pace and strength. Always makes our defence panic. Saying that, drizzle makes our defence panic so its probably not saying much but I'd take it. Made me LOL, well done!
Saint Martini Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang would be a good signing. He always used to score against us if I remember correctly... If we're going to sign everyone that scores against us we'd have a rather big squad.....
SaintRichmond Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang is pretty decent and would do a job. You're right ... the Bar Service does need back up ..........
Draino76 Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Would Agyemang start getting own goals for us?
Pilchards Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Am I the only one who does not know who this guy is unless we are talking that guy who plays up front for Manchester City that recently signed from Arsenal?
saint_stevo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Am I the only one who does not know who this guy is unless we are talking that guy who plays up front for Manchester City that recently signed from Arsenal? Yes that is him
SaintRichmond Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Am I the only one who does not know who this guy is unless we are talking that guy who plays up front for Manchester City that recently signed from Arsenal? That's the one ... Man C paid £22M ..... but we're getting him for £1M + LV's .....
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Am I the only one who does not know who this guy is unless we are talking that guy who plays up front for Manchester City that recently signed from Arsenal? Patrick Agyemang. Plays for QPR. Ex Preston, Gillingham (I think). **** off massive bloke with pace. Defo need a winger to supply balls into him and Lambert though.
SO16_Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Simon Church from Reading according to bloke on Echo Twitter. Great source, i know....
saint_stevo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Simon Church from Reading according to bloke on Echo Twitter. Great source, i know.... Would be good
OldNick Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 I think everytime he has played against us he's scored.Preston last minute at SMS, a couple when we were bossing the game live on sky at Preston, for QPR as well.A player who should have done well.
Pancake Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Simon Church from Reading according to bloke on Echo Twitter. Great source, i know.... I see from the source on Twitter that is really isnt the bets source!
Hopkins Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Simon Church from Reading according to bloke on Echo Twitter. Great source, i know.... Probably about as good as source as any right now. Church scored 40 plus goals for me on FM in the Blue Square South for my Basingstoke side. Goal scoring god.
OldNick Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Would be goodIve never heard of him. He surely must have scored against us though. Steven Hawking would come on in debut and get a hatful against us
Pancake Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 DJ Campbell from Leicester on loan? First Ive hear of that!
saint_stevo Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 DJ Campbell from Leicester on loan? Dodgy source
SO16_Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Dodgy source just seen in on that live feed on echo site. one plus - he's a striker!
team-saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apart from scoring against us a lot I seem to remember Agyemang isn't that great.
Jesus Reigned Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Agyemang would be a good signing. He always used to score against us if I remember correctly... Really? first i heard of it I may not be right but I think he may have scored against us for both Preston and QPR in the season before last? The one against QPR was at SMS when he ran the ball into an empty net following some comical defending; yes, I know I should narrow it down a bit.......
SaintRichmond Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Apart from scoring against us a lot I seem to remember Agyemang isn't that great. Neither are WE ..... so he should fit in well ............
Jesus Reigned Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Carsten..... Being ratified as I type....
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Anyway, one particular 606er reckons former Bristol Rovers and Nottingham Forest striker Junior Agogo is agogoing to join Southampton today. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8227622.stm

Nexstar Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Based on his track record he'd be a good signing! Looks to score a goal every three games on average.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Carsten Jancker? LOL... this from Wiki...not looking great and hope the rumour is not true. After poor performances, he was dropped in October 08, and agreed to join SV Mattersburg in the winter transfer window.[1] In June 2009 it was announced that Mattersburg did not want to work with Jancker any further because of his physical condition.
