chrisobee Posted 31 August, 2009 Share Posted 31 August, 2009 Team: Lumb, Adams JM Vince, SM Ervine, CC Benham, LA Dawson, N Pothas*†, DG Cork, DJ Balcombe, H Riazuddin, Imran Tahir 28/0 off 4 overs. Obviously Dimi is injured but still looks a decent team with Pothas at 7.

chrisobee Posted 31 August, 2009 Author Share Posted 31 August, 2009 according to sky worcs spinners were causing havoc, come on tahir & dawson spin us to victory I hope so as I think we might have to make do with Riazuddin, Balcome, Tahir, Dawson and Ervine as Cork has not opened the bowling. Lets B Avenue Posted 31 August, 2009 Share Posted 31 August, 2009 Oh, looks like another injury, Cork retired 0 off 1 ball Hit by beamer, first ball. Gloved it into face, got cut. Hasn't bowled and we are getting stuffed. 100-0 off 11.1.
chrisobee Posted 31 August, 2009 Author Share Posted 31 August, 2009 Worcester going at nearly 9 an over, not looking good. Somewhat of an understatement. Losing Cork did not help and why no Griffiths or Tremlett come to that ?

That's pretty awful, surely that kind of delivery is illegal and yet we pay the price.

chrisobee Posted 31 August, 2009 Author Share Posted 31 August, 2009 Now we are bowling Adams who has gone for 12 runs in his 1st 3 balls. Worcs are going to win inside 20 overs at this rate! No sign of Dawson.
NI76 Posted 31 August, 2009 Share Posted 31 August, 2009 Griffiths being rested. He is there though. Tremlett not fit. What is it with all this rested nonsense? He's hardly played all season, our bowling attack is wafer thin, he was outstanding in the last Pro40 and we're resting him from bowling eight overs in a game that if we had won we would be in with a real shout of winning the title. Unreal. Any idea what Tremlett's "injury" is this time? I expect it's a back or neck problem, i.e. something you can't really prove, rather than an actual tear or strain that would show up on a scan.
