Stockport v Saints Post Match Chat

exit2

Surprise, surprise! Let's face it we just ain't good enough. Pardew has brought in a load of one dimensional tat with Eff all skill and this is the effing result. We can't even beat a load of sh*t* like Stockport who are in Administration. If Lallana and schneiderlan Eff Off we are stuffed!

We are in Effing trouble, we are Relegation candidates now for sure. Pardew has had long enough to show what he can do and he can't direct games, change tactics or win matches. Let's see that's Eff all wins out of five and a points take of 0.6 per game or 27 for the season. Time for Pardew to pack his kit before we become the laughing stock of this Effin Division as well.

Yep! I'm the first to say it we're down all bar the effing shouting.

Thats the fourth fckin time this season we've taken the lead in a game and not gone on to win. You can draw your own conclusions from that, but fitness is an obvious one.

Fitness, defence, referees...

Can we start bribing refs?

Chin up. We had more efforts on goal and were screwed by all the injury time. Plenty more games to go and hopefully a couple more new faces still to come. This is sickening but at least we showed some potential.

Nothing personal to you but I am fed up of this , we had these comments last year and nothing ever improved and I am sorry to say that this season will go the same way.

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?.....

...you need to support another team. It's the only way!

Absolutely gutted for the millionth time in my life as a Saints fan.

When we will ever be able to defend a lead until the final whistle. Age old problem regardless of the management set up etc.

I'm lost for words and solutions now.......

I can't buy this fitness stuff. How can a goal like that be about fitness? More like an inability to kill the game of with a second or third goal more like.

That is ****, really ****. But Pardrew said it would take till september for things to sort itself out, we have been improving so I will give him till then.

+1

Still early days if you write off the pre-season and basically count the first part of this season as Pardrews pre-season period - it's just using real games.

Just heard some fool on radio Solent calling for Pardew out! Riiiiiiiiight, then what?

The equaliser was well deserved because Saints failed to control the ball in the last minutes of the game. If we only have players who are capable of booting the ball up the field instead of keeping possession, then we have players who are not good enough for this club. Merrington was wrong on Radio Solent to say it was unlucky because tehya sked for it, and where he was right was in saying they ahd already thrown away earlier good scoring chances.

This squad is NOT GOOD ENOUGH and there not enough time to repair it properly.

Totally pathetic and ruined my saturday. We should be beating teams like this and I'm fed up with the excuses.I'm starting to wonder if we've got the Pardew of Charlton here and not West Ham & Reading.I bet NC & ML will be patient for a little while longer but I do think if we haven't got a couple of wins by October ,AP's job will be in serious jeopardy.

I want AP to be sucsessful as we dont need more change but I bet ML hasn't bought this club to be relegated. It might just mean the cheque book is opened slightly more than they planned over the next 3 days.Hers's hoping.

WE DESPERATELY NEED A STRIKER AND WINGER BEFORE TUES

Its not early days any longer, but its not Pardew's fault if the owners did not make enough money available at day 1 and have not made enough money available since, but the probability is that unless enough new and better players are brought in this squad will get relegated.

Gutted. Can't remember how many times I've started my post-match comment with that word either. 15 bloody seconds! Why does it always happen to us? We've changed the owners, the manager and the team, and yet we still concede late on. I know it's not the end of the world and I'm not expecting us to be in a relegation battle come the end of the season, but right now I feel so deflated. Really, really hope that we can get 3 points against Colchester, otherwise even I will struggle to draw the positives out of another disappointing game.

But it is early days IF (like I said) you exclude the whole of pre-season and write that off. Assuming the start of the league 1 season was the start for Pardew (I can't recall when his first game was) then he's had 5 games (or 7 if you include cup games). We have something like 41 games left to go........ that to me means it is still early days (in my opinion, etc, etc).

I'm gutted about the result today, but I still think we have a long way to go and I'm certainly not going to start calling for Pardews head just yet!

First away draw. Always look on the bright side.

I agree with the sentiment. It can be easy to be so down but we have just gained our first away points of the season in a game we dominated.

We are still building, and there are encouraging signs.

all the illusion that we were peoples 2nd favouite club certainly doesnt seem to be the fact with the refs in the last few years.

Still 11 points from safety. We have to try and be strong and build from here.I am still numb but it is not the first time this has happened and watching the game on here on F5 I expected bad news as the injury time just went on and on

Can you imagine what people would saying now if Lowe was still in the chair. We'd probably be seeing the first of this season's marches on the stadium. At least with the new regime, fans are more likely to stay loyal for longer.

You stopped going last Xmas due to us being crap if I remember rightly.

Hypocripical tw*t.

Wash your mouth out you naughty little boy! But I'm flattered that you follow my movements!

I've been to both home league games so far this season, but I wouldn't continue going if it was just to see the team representing my club lose week after week. So far I'm not expecting that to happen, but I'm like a lot of fans, who go to enjoy my Saturday afternoon. If I stop enjoying it I'll do something else with my time, but I will never stop supporting the club I've followed for over 50 years.

Love the over reaction. A dodgy late pen and thoughts turn from "A well earned hard working battling 3 points to....FFS, ****ing ****e, should have scored all our chances blah blah blah"

If we'd have one 1-0. Nobody would have said a thing about chances missed today.

Fact.

A dodgy late pen decision and its depression time on here again.

Really?

Yes, I'm gutted at conceding yet another late goal ...

Yes, I'm going to be a grumpy sod for the rest of the weekend for letting another two points slip ...

Yes, I'm p*****d off that we are still 11 points from safety ...

But can you judge Pardew on 5 games? No

Can you realistically expect him to turn round a useless team in just over a month? No

Was the football from Saints today better than we saw at pretty much any point last season? Yes

Is there signs of improvement in key areas of weakness? In some yes, in some no.

Anyone with an once of realism will have known from minute one of the season that nobody could turn round our fortunes overnight. It was never going to be easy, we won't get promotions, but it will turn round and we will be safe this season.

Get real, and get behind the team.

If Lowe was still in the chair we'd still have Wotte and be playing kids. I predict we'd have lost every game thus far.

I will get slated for saying this.............but there are some real crybabies on here. We are getting better, we have got better players in, we have got a better manager in, we have got a better owner in.......however, some on here want our fortunes to change overnight, it's taken us 6/7 years to reach this position, it's not going to change in 6/7 weeks.

Some on here, need to take a chill pill, and let the new guys make their mark. The last thing they need, is all you so called 'loyal' fans, getting on their backs...................be patient ffs.
