alpine_saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 +1 and the pressure of being on minus points, still looking for a win, just gets heavier. I'm not sure if the likes of Lallana can cope with that. Indeed. A coincidence that his best game of the season so far was in the League Cup ??? docker-p Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Thats the fourth fckin time this season we've taken the lead in a game and not gone on to win. You can draw your own conclusions from that, but fitness is an obvious one.
Charlie Wayman Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Surprise, surprise! Let's face it we just ain't good enough. Pardew has brought in a load of one dimensional tat with Eff all skill and this is the effing result. We can't even beat a load of sh*t* like Stockport who are in Administration. If Lallana and schneiderlan Eff Off we are stuffed! We are in Effing trouble, we are Relegation candidates now for sure. Pardew has had long enough to show what he can do and he can't direct games, change tactics or win matches. Let's see that's Eff all wins out of five and a points take of 0.6 per game or 27 for the season. Time for Pardew to pack his kit before we become the laughing stock of this Effin Division as well. Yep! I'm the first to say it we're down all bar the effing shouting.

Saint Charlie Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Nothing we can do about late dodgy pens? Erm, how about turning possession into a two goal cushion? Call me old fashioned. hackedoff Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Chin up. We had more efforts on goal and were screwed by all the injury time. Plenty more games to go and hopefully a couple more new faces still to come. This is sickening but at least we showed some potential. Nothing personal to you but I am fed up of this , we had these comments last year and nothing ever improved and I am sorry to say that this season will go the same way. Professor Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 The equaliser was well deserved because Saints failed to control the ball in the last minutes of the game. If we only have players who are capable of booting the ball up the field instead of keeping possession, then we have players who are not good enough for this club. Merrington was wrong on Radio Solent to say it was unlucky because tehya sked for it, and where he was right was in saying they ahd already thrown away earlier good scoring chances. This squad is NOT GOOD ENOUGH and there not enough time to repair it properly.

WATERSIDEIFASAINT Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Totally pathetic and ruined my saturday. We should be beating teams like this and I'm fed up with the excuses.I'm starting to wonder if we've got the Pardew of Charlton here and not West Ham & Reading.I bet NC & ML will be patient for a little while longer but I do think if we haven't got a couple of wins by October ,AP's job will be in serious jeopardy. I want AP to be sucsessful as we dont need more change but I bet ML hasn't bought this club to be relegated. It might just mean the cheque book is opened slightly more than they planned over the next 3 days.Hers's hoping. Bailey Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Gutted. Can't remember how many times I've started my post-match comment with that word either. 15 bloody seconds! Why does it always happen to us? We've changed the owners, the manager and the team, and yet we still concede late on. I know it's not the end of the world and I'm not expecting us to be in a relegation battle come the end of the season, but right now I feel so deflated. Really, really hope that we can get 3 points against Colchester, otherwise even I will struggle to draw the positives out of another disappointing game. Assuming the start of the league 1 season was the start for Pardew (I can't recall when his first game was) then he's had 5 games (or 7 if you include cup games). We have something like 41 games left to go........ that to me means it is still early days (in my opinion, etc, etc). But I'm flattered that you follow my movements! I've been to both home league games so far this season, but I wouldn't continue going if it was just to see the team representing my club lose week after week. So far I'm not expecting that to happen, but I'm like a lot of fans, who go to enjoy my Saturday afternoon. If I stop enjoying it I'll do something else with my time, but I will never stop supporting the club I've followed for over 50 years.
Hopkins Posted 29 August, 2009 Share Posted 29 August, 2009 Love the over reaction. A dodgy late pen and thoughts turn from "A well earned hard working battling 3 points to....FFS, ****ing ****e, should have scored all our chances blah blah blah" If we'd have one 1-0. But can you judge Pardew on 5 games? No Can you realistically expect him to turn round a useless team in just over a month?
