SO16_Saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 when will we f u c k i n g learn to defend, especially set plays. We always look so weak.
Leicestersaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 BBC stats say 74 % possession by Stockport. Huh??
so22saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Ever since our supporters began using "WOOT" the team has played crap, we've been relegated twice. I shudder with pain every time I see it posted during a game. We need to win today. We sit needing 12 points to get out of the bottom four relegation places and falling further and further behind the top 6. "COOT" agreed - it's a ****ing stupid term and I hold it directly responsible for Rupert Lowe and relegation :-) (i'm actually in agreement with you ART and wish people would stop posting it.)
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Good strikers, total helmets trying to feed them the ball.... M00t
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Pilkington shot, Davis with an excellent save.
J Bizzle Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Corners mean **** all. Anyone have a corner to goal ratio? my guess is it's pretty ****ing low.
SO16_Saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Possession Stockport 74% Southampton 26% Shots on target Stockport 1 Southampton 1 Shots off target Stockport 1 Southampton 2 Corners Stockport 4 Southampton 0 Fouls Stockport 2 Southampton
.comsaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Pards goes from the stands down to the technical area. Obviously not enjoying what he's seeing.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Good save by Kelvin Davis. Sounds familiar doesnt it.
Leicestersaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Things are still not right with our team -we're like a misfiring engine. 74 % possession to them????
J Bizzle Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Why is Lallana taking set pieces again? there must be someone better?
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Corner to Saints, after great work from Hammond down to the byline.........Perrys flick on out for a goal kick.
PaulSaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Ever since our supporters began using "WOOT" the team has played crap, we've been relegated twice. I shudder with pain every time I see it posted during a game. We need to win today. We sit needing 12 points to get out of the bottom four relegation places and falling further and further behind the top 6. "COOT" Not bad, if we lose we can say we dont give two Coots?
niceandfriendly Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Hammond makes a great run from midfield, earns a corner. Another woeful delivery from Lallana, wasted.
Thedelldays Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Things are still not right with our team -we're like a misfiring engine. 74 % possession to them???? an utter joke stockport have a young team that cost farkall and have also been in administration.... no excuses today
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Lallanas corner deliveries looking poor again. Mellis fouled in the area, Pardew and Saints fans going absolutely beserk.
niceandfriendly Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Mellis fouled in the box. Commentators can't believe it's not a Saints penalty.
bigtonesfc Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Who is looking forward to League 2? Least we`ll have all those new grounds too see!
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Things are still not right with our team -we're like a misfiring engine. 74 % possession to them???? Frustrating - we started well, but Stockport have just got hold of the game and are controlling it now. Should have been a foul on Mellis there though tbf
SO16_Saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 an utter joke stockport have a young team that cost farkall and have also been in administration.... no excuses today sound familiar?
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 bring home the l00t what are people listening to his on?
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Stockport corner again......Thomas cleared well.
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 im guessing TDD thinks we have no excuses today?
Saint Martini Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 an utter joke stockport have a young team that cost farkall and have also been in administration.... no excuses today Saintsplayer stats say possession is 50-50.
Thedelldays Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 im guessing TDD thinks we have no excuses today? no excuses...
.comsaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Thanks to that cheating Arsenal git - refs are gonna think long & hard now when it comes to awarding a penalty...
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Stockport corner again......Thomas cleared well. and another
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Davis thinks he was fouled and had to settle for punching the ball out for a corner......cleared at the back post for a throw in.
PaulSaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Least we`ll have all those new grounds too see! This is what Wimbledon did after relegation from Div One (we swung the final blow). If we follow it through then some football-less city will take us over & move us, eek!
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Our attempts at counter attacking are embarrassing. The key with counter attacking is pace...we break at walking bloody pace.
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Hammond driving forward well, got to the byline a couple of times now.
Thedelldays Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 sounds like we are rubbish again...no point playing well in the week (against brum) and then doing this...
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Throw in from Thomas, flicked on dangerously by Lambert with the keeper off his line but no-one attacking it.
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 look on the bright side,we are getting plenty of practise defending set pieces, something i'm not sure we do in training....
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 sounds like we are rubbish again...no point playing well in the week (against brum) and then doing this... Hasn't sounded pretty at all, Stockport dominating the majority of this half.
.comsaint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 We're not stamping our authority on this game. That's because we haven't got any!
bigtonesfc Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Maybe Stockport will tire their selves out, then we slaughter `em second half!.....maybe!
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 FFS, Saganowski in behind the defence but the defender falls over and the ref gives a foul. Pardew furious, commentators think we've got a home-favouring ref here.
Spudders Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Saintsplayer stats say possession is 50-50. Maybe saintsplayer provides stats based on each individual listener!!! My connection keeps going and to be honest for the few bits of the game I have heard, I'd say our posession of those bits has been 50/50
niceandfriendly Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Another poor decision from the ref, Saga was through on goal, got taken down, free kick to Stockport.
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 saints commentator in other side biased claim shocker
Victor Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 no excuses... How about: "Stockport have lost all their home games this season and we always like to help teams with a record like that"?
Saint_clark Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Ball in from Thomas, all the defenders miss it and Lallana heads it but it's well saved low down to the keepers left.
niceandfriendly Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Aparently our midfield is looking good. James and Hammond playing well. Saints deflected shot, keeper saved.
