Thedelldays Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 who would you like to be England manager..? Arry - god now but there will be a campaign by the press to get him in.. Hoddle, Keegan, Venables..no way IMO I would go for Hodgson..I think he is an exceptional manager..has managed all over Europe, some huge clubs, plays the game in the right way.. Look what he has done at Fulham.. I really do rate him....He is someone that I would love to have seen at saints after WGS left...
Weston Super Saint Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Jan Portvliet and Mark Wotte combination for me.
Pilchards Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Tony Adams will no doubt be the bookies favorite somehow, just like he was for Saints. He will talk himself yet again. I would say that Morinho (However its spelt) I've a feeling he would want the job too as he has unfinished business in England. IMHO I think Capello is going to finally deliver us the world cup if he can sort out a keeper and another striker with Rooney.
saint_stevo Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Do all we can to get Arsene Wenger or Mourinho IMO
sotonjoe Posted 29 August, 2009 Posted 29 August, 2009 Harry Redknapp is the man. He has an undisputed record of success and has achieved great things at all the clubs he has managed.
Saint Martini Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Has to be Hodgson, he has experience of managing national sides as well.
John Boy Saint Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Harold Redcrapp, It would break his heart not being able to wheeler deal players into his team.
aintforever Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 I think Redknapp would make a good England manager.
Saint_clark Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 If Redknapp was England manager any victories would be tainted for me.
Smirking_Saint Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 As much as it would tear my heart out, old satchel face twitcharoo HR for me, he plays decent attractive football, gets the best out of his players and has always had a good degree of success. (us not included) Although i'd imagine he would be lost without a phone and a cheque book.
Andy_Porter Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Mourinho or maybe Hiddink, anyone else would be a step down from Capello.
mack rill Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 If Redknapp was England manager any victories would be tainted for me. Most games would be tainted then A Moooooosh!:smt023
Give it to Ron Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Paul Sturrock...can you imagine Terry, Beckham, Lampard and Rooneys faces when he appears with his egg stained shirt.
Huffton Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Boris Johnson. Would be worth it just for the post match interviews:smt023
Crab Lungs Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 One from Hiddink, Twitchy or O'Neill for me, but it'll probably be Stuart Pearce.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 I think Redknapp would make a good England manager. Is it possible for a national team to go into adminstration subsequent to his departure to his spiritual home ? I'd hate for him to break form.

AndyNorthernSaints Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Steve Wigley and Stuart Gray dream team.
mcjwills Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Well the Country's going bankrupt, so Redkrap must be a sure thing
gaz Posted 13 January, 2010 Posted 13 January, 2010 Psycho Pearce. Or Mike Bassett. He did OK last time.
