Saint_clark Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 This international break was worth it just for the Socceraid match.
Master Bates Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 This international break was worth it just for the Socceraid match. And the Scotland match
70's Mike Posted 8 September, 2008 Author Posted 8 September, 2008 still boring, is this how being a saints supporter is going to be? nothing happenning , nothing to talk or moan about APATHY RULES in southampton , will the club as i know it return
Charlie Wayman Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Effing Joke! Especially with our squad. Time for the FA to stick two fingers up at FIFA, if clubs want to play let them play, it would save fixture congestion later on. Most of the precious Ones from the Prem don't want to play for England anyway so what's the point of this charade?

Most of the precious Ones from the Prem don't want to play for England anyway so what's the point of this charade? right; They could leave open the possibility of clubs not involved in anyway with Internationals playing League Cup, Cup or catch up matches. They'd get far better crowds in than on Tuesday or Wednesday nights.
Whitey Grandad Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Ever since we started having breaks for the international matches the England team has been rubbish. What was wrong with having the qualifiers midweek on a Wednesday?
stevegrant Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Ever since we started having breaks for the international matches the England team has been rubbish. What was wrong with having the qualifiers midweek on a Wednesday? We play more qualifiers nowadays. 14 in the last qualifying campaign, so they have to do Saturday/Wednesday double-headers, it's the only way to fit them in around the domestic leagues. Oh, and the England team has generally always been rubbish, it's only the media hype that makes people believe we're any good.
