StuRomseySaint Posted 26 August, 2009 Posted 26 August, 2009 Kids for a quid, in a 20,000 capacity stadium, for a Premiership game? Surely not? http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=tickets_news&qs_article_id=2757
benjii Posted 26 August, 2009 Posted 26 August, 2009 Small away following, clearly hardly any tickets sold, dodgy new owner (perhaps).... probably about 15k? If Maradonna signs on the pitch though that could rise to 16k.
StuRomseySaint Posted 26 August, 2009 Author Posted 26 August, 2009 lol how many heckles have we taken off Corpy for us doing kids for a quid for the smaller CHAMPIONSHIP games in our stadium with 12,000 more capacity. I would LOVE to hear how he is going to get out of this one!
Weston Super Saint Posted 26 August, 2009 Posted 26 August, 2009 Wise move, stating kids need to be accompanied by an 'adult' rather than their 'parent'
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 Wise move, stating kids need to be accompanied by an 'adult' rather than their 'parent' The kids will be safe anyway because they'll be related to most of the crowd.
alehouseboys Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 Wow, could set a new record - most cousins ever seen in one place at the same time. Anyways, this is nothing new at farrton, they were doing this, and free tickets for local schools/ST holders bring-a-friend-for-free, a few years back when they were regularly getting 5 or 6,000. Promotion, winning the cup, Europe, 3 gazillionaires, big name players later and they've managed to attract another amazing 10,000 JCLs. Impressive.
Thedelldays Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 their support is and always has been an utter joke.. fair play to the few thousand hard core fans as they certainly are that...they have been there through alot and got to see their team rise and win something...im sure (seriously) corp is one of those...but to suggest they are a well supported club is a joke..it really is.. in a selfish way....i hope they suffer as a football club more so than what we have....but respect to the few thousand hardcore fans.. I wonder what gates they would get if they were on -8 in division 3... no where close to 20k(ish) that we have...which suggest we have a far far bigger core support than them...LOL oh, 40,000 seater stadium in pompey would be the biggest waste of money IMO

The Majestic Channon Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 kids for a quid in a 20,000 capacity ' stadium' in the PREM ?? fantastic support skates ...
OldNick Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 he's in hiding for 3 weeks. Slough leisure centre have a deal on. Kids for a £1 , big girls £2. Its gonna cost him £42
Johnny Bognor Posted 27 August, 2009 Posted 27 August, 2009 oh, 40,000 seater stadium in pompey would be the biggest waste of money IMO Perhaps a 40,000 all seater Sea Life Centre would have more chance of selling out in Pompey?
spyinthesky Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 Suppose CH will be on soon comparing the Gobsh*tes massive foray into the transfer market compared to our, more restrained, action.
the colonel Posted 1 September, 2009 Posted 1 September, 2009 lol how many heckles have we taken off Corpy for us doing kids for a quid for the smaller CHAMPIONSHIP games in our stadium with 12,000 more capacity. I would LOVE to hear how he is going to get out of this one! That's easy, all he has to say is 'recession and what a fantastic club they have for looking after the fans in these difficult times' and as usual he will deflect the question or no answer at all. He's been doing it for years on this website (inc previous versions) sad little man that he is.
Marky-G Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Kids for a quid, in a 20,000 capacity stadium, for a Premiership game? Surely not? http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=tickets_news&qs_article_id=2757 couple of points 1.why is stu looking on the skate website 2.£34 for adults is taking the p**s or what in the landfill site of a stadium
Crab Lungs Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 I agree with the sentiments on many on this thread. It's a shame Corp will misintepret this thread as direct homage to him and will probably give him enough reason to accuse us of "being obsessed" Irrespective of this, they truly are a **** club with **** fans in a **** stadium in a **** situation. Kids for a quid in the Prem? LMFAO
chocco boxo Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Still overpriced for a skate inbred kid IMO.

John Boy Saint Posted 2 September, 2009 Posted 2 September, 2009 Quiet afternoon at work then!? ;-) That reminds me of the fine days when you could buy a copy of the Beautiful South when it was in its independent mode, or the Ugly before it got weighed down in politics.

Haha, well, quiet afternoon after work! Used to love BS and as you said, The Ugly before it got all political. Was gonna start up my own league football fanzine a couple of years ago with 'The9' on here but time and effort dictated otherwise. Ah well, one day, one day...!
