Guest Hacienda Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 I taken to taking my nippers DS on my monthly trips to Italy. Are there any decent "grown up" games for it?
SuperMikey Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Aside from Brain Training I can't really think of any! The best thing to do is to embrace your inner child and get Mario Brothers and any other platform games. The Zelda game is good also. And if you like sport sims, NFL Madden is alright and Top Spin is a decent tennis sim.
Alanh Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 If you like strategy games then Advance Wars is very good.
Bentley Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Pheonix Wright games are quite good, and not aimed at kids.
Johnny Shearer Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Pheonix Wright games are quite good, and not aimed at kids. I've got a Pheonix Wright game - very good indeed. Also got The World Ends With You that is good but have also just bought Bangai-O Spirits. An R-Type/Xenon game.
Andy_Porter Posted 8 September, 2008 Posted 8 September, 2008 Zelda Phantom Hour Glass, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros and Tetris.
Marsdinho Posted 11 September, 2008 Posted 11 September, 2008 There arent any, get a wii instead they are much more "grown up"

stevegrant Posted 11 September, 2008 Posted 11 September, 2008 There arent any, get a wii instead they are much more "grown up" Not much use "on the move", though, I'd have thought Mario Kart is probably the main example I can think of, if I remember rightly there are a few crossword/Sudoku-type puzzle games available as well.
Ponty Posted 11 September, 2008 Posted 11 September, 2008 Guitar Hero. That would make you look uber cool on the train. Much like the DS itself.

Super Mario Brothers is just great as the other poster mentioned. Just make sure you take headphones with you to avoid the "Axe in the head from the annoyed passenger behind you on the plane" syndrome.
