SW11_Saint Posted 26 August, 2009 Share Posted 26 August, 2009 Has taken full control of PFC, assured all debts. Storrie not involved in takeover. Sorry, not Saints related, but interesting nonetheless. Presumably why they've been able to start buying players.
niceandfriendly Posted 26 August, 2009 Share Posted 26 August, 2009 Haha fantastic, I find it quite amusing that this clown has taken control of them. Very dodgy chap indeed.
OldNick Posted 26 August, 2009 Share Posted 26 August, 2009 Haha fantastic, I find it quite amusing that this clown has taken control of them. Very dodgy chap indeed. interesting, and I wonder if it has made a mockery of the FAPPT. Shows Storrie up as he was buying it and heading a consortium just a few days ago. What a bunch they have at that club.

st alex Posted 27 August, 2009 Share Posted 27 August, 2009 they've since made a bid to host World Cup games, 'Details of a base camp for international players and training facilities make up the proposal by the city council hoping to host some games.' 'Portsmouth plan to expand the capacity of Fratton Park to 30,000 before building a new stadium with a 40,000-plus capacity.' (bbc) why can't we be a world cup venue, already have training facilities twice as good, literally since we have marchwood and their training ground (wellington), would simply be rewarding an already wealthy club for having consistently poor attendances. We'll be more in the thoughts of the FA as opposed to Portsmouth - it's all a pipedream, they haven't even laid the first brick of their training ground yet, let alone renovating FP and building a new ground.
