SNSUN Posted 24 August, 2009 Share Posted 24 August, 2009 Apparently a lot of people we're p.o'd when they cancelled their gig at the V festival on Sunday, due to Liam's 'viral larangytus'. So nothing to do with the boys screaming their heads off at the Man City game 24 hours earlier then...

niceandfriendly Posted 24 August, 2009 Share Posted 24 August, 2009 Apparently they will split up at the end of their tour next week anyway. Haha, how many times have we heard that over the years? Is the reason you heard because "Liam and Noel don't really get on"?
Saint_Jonny Posted 24 August, 2009 Share Posted 24 August, 2009 Noel is a perfectly good singer, they could have coped without Liam surely? I'd be ****ed if i'd gone to that festy for the purpose of seeing oasis, thats for sure. Lucky I think they are total gash then.

The people who go to V probably aren't interested in seeing a quality band like Oasis anyway. They'd rather see James Morrison, Lady Gaga or the TingTings, so the punters won't be too fussed. I thought Katie White was awful, out of tune and flat at the same time. Impressive.

Manuel Posted 24 August, 2009 Share Posted 24 August, 2009 God I hope they do split up. Your vote for most pointless banal offering? I'd go for Wonderwall.

Junction 9 Posted 24 August, 2009 Share Posted 24 August, 2009 Well that, and they ran out of ideas in about 1996 No wink needed, that's exactly what they did. Apart from the Importance of being idle they've done nothing of note since Morning glory was released.
saint_bert Posted 25 August, 2009 Share Posted 25 August, 2009 Personal opinion of course, I think they are still good as do a lot of people. Of course it's personal opinion. My point being, which I think even the most die hard Oasis fan can admit to, is Oasis have not made an album on par with morning glory. They stayed too samey IMO. That's why I never agree with people saying their Beatles wanna bes. Every Beatles album was different. In my opinion Oasis albums are not. Anyway it's all a bunch of indie carp anyway
