saint lard Posted 22 August, 2009 Share Posted 22 August, 2009 This could be a bloody good, appears to have had some very good reviews. I have to say I do quite like Some of Camerons' work. Really need to be convinced however that the more CGI, and what appears to becoming more popular,3D format really enhances the viewing. imo, there is a thin line between 'effects' that contribute in a positive way and those that completely over do it thus spoil the whole movie experience, does'nt matter what the subject matter or the story line. percy windham Posted 22 August, 2009 Share Posted 22 August, 2009 i went to see one of the special previews yesterday at the odeon. the 3-d works very well, but the story and cgi design just looks so generic, although it is hard to really judge the story off the back of a 20 minute preview.
