SWP is an exceptional player, whose skill balance and pace makes up for his lack of height, AY although shortish for a Pro-footballer these days, isn't particularly that short. Cox is 5' 4" FFS 1.5" shorter than SWP without any of his attributes. Same reason Gillett isn't playing and is never likely to make the career that his talent deserves.
