bridge too far Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Andy Murray has broken Rafael Nadal's serve TWICE in the opening set!!!!!
Deppo Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Good stuff. Used to be against him but I've got over it now.
bridge too far Posted 6 September, 2008 Author Posted 6 September, 2008 He is playing amazingly! He's 'in the zone', so they say
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Nadal, broken Murrays serve in the third set.
Bath Saint Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Murray will lose this match 3-2 and then I can go back to calling him a has-been.
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 If he wins it's a great performance from a fantastic British player. If he loses it's because he is a useless Scots w*nker.
Saintandy666 Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 I think the rain break could be better for nadal, unless he comes outs and starts like he did today again.
saintwarwick Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Murray will lose this match 3-2 and then I can go back to calling him a has-been. As he's number 4 in the world that makes a lot of has beens in tennis.
saint lard Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 If he wins it's a great performance from a fantastic British player. If he loses it's because he is a useless Scots w*nker. He's that, either way.
dubai_phil Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 Ah the old rain break trick, always a good one to use when playing a Brit in an important tennis match. We all know what happens next don't we :-)
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 He's that, either way. Yeah, fair enough...
Hatch Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 cheating ****.............. what was the question?
Rattlehead Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Even the Jocks hate this c*nt, he isn't disliked because he's Scottish. He's a miserable c*nt. It doesn't matter where he is from, he is a miserable c*nt. Nobody likes him because he's a miserable c*nt. I challenge anyone to find a picture of the miserable c*nt smiling.

Tbf he kinda looks like an early 80s McEnroe and it seems we can't get enough of the Super Brat on telly commentary at Wombledon these days. I wanna see Murray throw a few mega fits like McEnroe did for a bit of real tennis entertainment.

Seems as if he isn't the only one. Btw, any chance of using expletives just a little less. You've made your point. But even with the word filter we can work them out.
saintkiptanui Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Jock ****MMMM have to agree, why the in allahs name our we getting behind a sweaty sock marlon dingle lookalike,I 've had it with you guys/
saint_stevo Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 I quite like him, and for one cheer him on in all the major tournaments, he is British, good enough. Didnt see anyone complaining Chris Hoy was Scottish at the Olympics..... Hypocrites

And now we know why he doesn't smile.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Murray has proved that he will win a major soon, maybe even this one. I thought he played outstanding tennis yesterday. As usual us Brits love to hate anyone who is successfull in sport, preferring brave but unlucky losers most of the time. Who cares if he doesn't smile FFS. Don't remember Borg or McEnroe smiling during matches? well not until they were lifting the trophy.
bridge too far Posted 7 September, 2008 Author Posted 7 September, 2008 And now we know why he doesn't smile. Isn't that his brother, Jamie? Or was that your point?
Saint Matty 76 Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Isn't that his brother, Jamie? Or was that your point? Nope, I'm pretty sure that's Andy.

PES Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 (edited) I'm in the pro-Murray camp. He's a winner and he does not give a sh*t about anyone else, he's doing it for himself, not Scotland not England or Great Britain. I find him honest and refreshing, though admitadly he is a miserable so and so. He's kinda like a British Johnny Mac (Minus any charm). Edited 7 September, 2008 by PES

Dog Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Tim Henman would kick his ar5e in a street fight.
Saintandy666 Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 I like Andy Murray, he can be abit miserable, but not all the time, an dI think it's mainly his accent. And as for has-been, he's on the up, first grand slam semi, won his first masters the other week. Maybe in about 10 years you'll be able to call him a has been after he has achieved many great things.

StuRomseySaint Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 If he wins, I will cheer the British hero, if he loses then I will laugh at the Scottish c*nt.
Reggie Dunlop Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 If he wins, I will cheer the British hero, if he loses then I will laugh at the Scottish c*nt. Here here!!!!!!
Mao Cap Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 I've never understood the Murray hate, but I just can't take anyone who routinely wears black trainers seriously. Never seen a pair of black trainers that didn't look absolutely bloody awful.

jawillwill Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Murray has matured a lot over the last couple of years. I genuinely feel sorry for people if they still don't like him for spurring on a historic rivalry between the english and the Scots. He's also a cracking player.

Hatch Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 jeez,................. Only has to beat federer now
tombletomble Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 What a win. That was a great match and an impressive win for Murry. Just Federer to beat now.
Saint_clark Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 Does anyone know if he will advance in the rankings if he wins, and how far?
