Wow, I've just read some posts on 606. Seems he's managed to perform the demotivating and passion removal on Scotland in 3 matches compared to the 18months he needed with us..........

Not all Burleys fault. The passion has been slowly draining from the Scots since that battle was filmed and they had to get that Australian to play the lead role as they could ne find a Scotsman with enough spirit and fight.

The Scottish management is as bad as the England side and you know as sure as eggs are eggs we will go and mess it up and let the scots fans back at us.

Couldnt give a shiny one about the achievements of that mutual masturbation club of Capello, Terry, Lampard and Beckham, despite being English, anyway..........

Its great to agree with Alpine! Still remember what for me was the most nerve-wracking moment of Burley's career with Saints, hearing that the SFA wanted him and the dreadful suspense until the move was agreed.

Contrast JP with Burley, comparing behaviour in the technical area. JP in a suit, might walk into the area occasionally and show some frustration at a bad play, or to applaud a good play, but gives the impression he is watching for the impact of his week's coaching work, not trying to compensate for it. Burley, in a track suit, leaping around the technical area, shouting and gesturing instructions as if the players were supposed to be watching him all through the game like an orchestra conductor - made you wonder if he only did his coaching during matches.

Allegedly all that jumping around in the technical area was nothing to do with coaching, more with withdrawal symptoms
