Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 (edited) I go to the gym fairly regularly and am quite fit (well, not on a monday after ****ing up at the weekend) and today I was offered some steroids.... None of that injecting stuff, just some mild anabolics.. for the first time I thought about it... has anyone done any...or willing to admit it..? Edited 17 August, 2009 by Thedelldays no reason
Golden Balls Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Been offered. Would never take. Stick to the shakes
Channon's Windmill Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 It's the fast track to growing a pair of ***** tits. Seen many a person do it for a year or two, look like arnie, then have bigger moobs than rick waller when they stop!
Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2009 Author Posted 17 August, 2009 You may end up with a nice rack though! sweet
Dimond Geezer Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Got a mate whose been into body building in a big way, started doing gear when he was about 25, by the time he was 35 he'd had 2 heart attacks & a mild stroke. The moral - keep well clear.
Suhari Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Got a mate whose been into body building in a big way, started doing gear when he was about 25, by the time he was 35 he'd had 2 heart attacks & a mild stroke. The moral - keep well clear. Depends entirely on what you do, and whether you do it properly. Have friends who have partaken with decent results...but have done so having undertaken a MASSIVE amount of research. In fact one mate, a builder by trade with no qualifications, who, by the look of him you would class as a musclebound thicko, knows more about human physiology and biochemistry than anyone I have met. He knows the risks and does 'gear' in an increadibly controlled and scientific manner. Drugs in sport is wrong. For personal use steriods are entirely ones own decision/risk. Would be very concerned about being offered gear in a gym though. Mostly users keep things very quiet.
Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2009 Author Posted 17 August, 2009 when I say i got offered it..it was by a very good mate who takes a 6 week course of ONE type (does not stack) and has a 8-12 week break from it... he also takes milk thistle too... I wont name what he offers as it matters not..but it is a mild anabolic and nothing like that what people inject or fuks you up inside...
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 I've taken steroids for medicinal purposes. They are horrible ****s, don't take them.
scott_saints Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 What advantages are there to being stupidly muscular?
Thedelldays Posted 17 August, 2009 Author Posted 17 August, 2009 What advantages are there to being stupidly muscular? that is not always the goal...
scott_saints Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Fair enough. In most cases it seems to be the goal though. I find this odd because I can't think of many benefits of being really muscular.
Mao Cap Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Fair enough. In most cases it seems to be the goal though. I find this odd because I can't think of many benefits of being really muscular. Picking fights with people in town whilst wearing really, really tight T-shirts? That seems to be the raison d'etre of most roiders I see about.
benjii Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 If combined with an orange tan, short hair and a silver chain it will make the tatoo on your neck look that tad more menacing.
saint_stevo Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 I have been researching steroids for a while. Prob wont bother, stick to creatin and protein shakes me thinks
Deppo Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Hang on, my mum's just called me in for my tea...

Maybe this says more about the people you meet than it does about your friends knowledge of "human physiology and biochemistry"? People who take steroids as part of a body building plan are musclebound thicko's.

He knows the risks and does 'gear' in an increadibly controlled and scientific manner.. My mate was/is pretty clued up about this sort of thing as well, did the research & went in with his eyes open. Didn't stop it ****ing him up though! I wont name what he offers as it matters not..but it is a mild anabolic and nothing like that what people inject or fuks you up inside... It sound to me that you've made your mind up and are looking to others for confirmation that this is a 'good' thing. A bit like the teenager justifying his first cigarette by saying "It's just a menthol fag, it's not like the real thing"

Kadeem Hardison Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 Have you tried spinach? I'd say go for the steroids. Do you have these kind of concerns when you're offered amyl nitrate on the submarine?
saints-cris Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 Nah don't bother, pointless.. make you way overly aggressive and other such lark. You should be able to get results by eating right and the shakes.
Robsk II Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 Do you have these kind of concerns when you're offered amyl nitrate on the submarine? Seriously, though - I'd forgotten about 'roid rage. I reckon you're probably a violent psychopath anyway, given that you're not very tall and in the forces.. Would be a bad idea.
LGTL Posted 19 August, 2009 Posted 19 August, 2009 I have been researching steroids for a while. Prob wont bother, stick to creatin and protein shakes me thinks You carry on wasting your money then mate, just eat some chicken. And as for Steroids, you have to be totally clueless to consider them.
tpbury Posted 19 August, 2009 Posted 19 August, 2009 Nah don't bother, pointless.. make you way overly aggressive and other such lark. You should be able to get results by eating right and the shakes. Surely over consumption of alcohol is detrimental to becoming a musclebound psycho with a small willy?

Jesus Reigned Posted 20 August, 2009 Posted 20 August, 2009 (edited) I'd never do steroids; I think God made me this way for a reason, although other than for acting as a spare goalpost in times of emergency I can't think what the reason is... Edited 20 August, 2009 by Jesus Reigned Spelling.

fish fingers Posted 21 August, 2009 Posted 21 August, 2009 I took steriods as a kid for my ashthma. I used to beat up my teachers.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 22 August, 2009 Posted 22 August, 2009 My mate has an honours degree, an MSc and is doing a PhD and he's thick as pigsh*t.
