Awful last night, just awful. Every single time we had a corner he'd just stand there on the penalty spot waving his arms in the air telling people to mark up, maybe he should have concentrated more on who he was meant to be marking as not once did pick up a man. His passing & everything about his game is atrocious, wtf Pardew see's in him to pick him ahead of Gillett I've no idea. Hopefully with this Hammond coming in we might see him reduced to the bench but i won't hold my breath.

Defending corners he would not mark anyone. A Swindon player ran from the mixer to go for the short corner and Wotton did not pick him up, leaving somebody else to do it whilst he just stood there.

 

Attacking corners I noticed he made a run into the box, but from the direction of the corner, ultimately having his back to the ball. He would be more useful darting in towards the direction the ball is getting played so he can use his so called physicality to make a real presence in the box.
