SamKimish Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Not happy with Spiderman coming off, best player so far this season IMHO and the argument about experience is pointless, look at our defence FFS! Would like to see Pato on for Rasiak soon please.
dubai_phil Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Haas Mellis, is he related to Jacob? lol Justin Rose got back quick from Hazeltine in the US to play for them today or is it the accent again?

SaintRobbie Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 In all honesty, it sounds as if the game has passed Morgan by today, and i wouldn't be happy with just Kids through the midfield tbh... Correct observation Clarkey IMHO. We need a midfield General.... that can only come with experience.
Saint dyer Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 awesome song mate!! goes with this tune i take it??http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpV0ygkmhP4

Yate Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Strange that Lambert taking the corners. COYR
brightspark Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 TBH i'd be slightly frustrated with a draw... i'm one of those that just want to see us have a quick start for a change, we need to get out of the negatives and competing in the league ASAP COYS!!!

rocknrollman no2 Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 I think the best we will get will be a 2-2 draw. Come on Saints!!

dubai_phil Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 bugger but it's been coming for a while. Gotta question a double sub straight after a goal as we haven't got going again since
SaintRobbie Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 You will never win anything with kids. This last piece of legacy Lowe damage MUST be rectified.
Thedelldays Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 awesome song mate!! goes with this tune i take it??http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpV0ygkmhP4 and like this too
Runaway Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Can see us losing this, they're all over us Your fault
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Our centre midfield is showing the same complete inefficiency to control a game as they did last season, we have created hardly anything today and have 2 natural goalscorers up front. Its criminal. We need a Ince/Batty type of player immediately.
Arizona Posted 15 August, 2009 Author Posted 15 August, 2009 Boy do we (apparently) need some wide players.
Amesbury Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 many people said that the transfer window ends 31st August, so we can relax about losing matches in August

Its criminal. We need a Ince/Batty type of player immediately. it is the lack of wide players ffs I thought the millwall game told you this....the way they got back into the game says it all... why does creativity always have to come from the middle..you will find that this is not really the case in general in this league

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 many people said that the transfer window ends 31st August, so we can relax about losing matches in August :confused:
Colinjb Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Proof we need more experience and strength in all areas. We have just fought back from the brink, we still need time.
scott_saints Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Why couldn't I have been born in Manchester or something!!!!
explorer saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Yes where is Gillett and Holmes when we need them Pardew OUT
Edmonton Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 it is the lack of wide players ffs I thought the millwall game told you this....the way they got back into the game says it all... why does creativity always have to come from the middle..you will find that this is not really the case in general in this league It doesn't but you need to win the ball first, to get it wide..! Wotton is not a ball winner unfortunately, In fact he isn't much of a footballer at all.
the scud Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 many people said that the transfer window ends 31st August, so we can relax about losing matches in August Yes cos we can get kicking at the -10 point deduction after August
S-Clarke Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 We really don't seem to have players who can hack it away from home, when the real pressure is on. the likes of Adam/Morgan/James just seem to vanish and become completely ineffective. I'm sure Pards will have learnt alot today and it will have highlighted the need for some real quality and knowhow in the CB and CM positions.
brightspark Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 many people said that the transfer window ends 31st August, so we can relax about losing matches in August Relax too much and we might find we are bottom for an annoyingly long time!!!
NY Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Corner not cleared properly, another goal conceded because we can't deal with setpieces. Why are we doing the basic things wrong and how can we change it? Perry, Thomas, Davis, Harding and Murty are all experienced.
Amesbury Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Relax too much and we might find we are bottom for an annoyingly long time!!! agreed.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 We will struggle in this division thats for sure, if we cant even beat Huddersfield we are in the ****!!! ******!!!
Colinjb Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Why couldn't I have been born in Manchester or something!!!! And support Citeh? Get real mate.

WGS was keen on the wings and often said more crosses = more attempts on goal, but at the same time you need a robust man in the middle who is also a playmaker and can pass wide or run through the middle. We also need a Viafara type midfielder - big and robust to prevent penetration through the centre against us.
