Huddersfield 3-1 Saints - Second Half

Not happy with Spiderman coming off, best player so far this season IMHO

and the argument about experience is pointless, look at our defence FFS!

Would like to see Pato on for Rasiak soon please.

In all honesty, it sounds as if the game has passed Morgan by today, and i wouldn't be happy with just Kids through the midfield tbh...

Our centre midfield is showing the same complete inefficiency to control a game as they did last season, we have created hardly anything today and have 2 natural goalscorers up front. Its criminal. We need a Ince/Batty type of player immediately.

it is the lack of wide players ffs

I thought the millwall game told you this....the way they got back into the game says it all...

why does creativity always have to come from the middle..you will find that this is not really the case in general in this league

I think Ince or Batty might be a little bit too old to compete in this league.

It doesn't but you need to win the ball first, to get it wide..!

Wotton is not a ball winner unfortunately, In fact he isn't much of a footballer at all.

We really don't seem to have players who can hack it away from home, when the real pressure is on.

the likes of Adam/Morgan/James just seem to vanish and become completely ineffective.

I'm sure Pards will have learnt alot today and it will have highlighted the need for some real quality and knowhow in the CB and CM positions.

To be fair you need a mix of both. WGS was keen on the wings and often said more crosses = more attempts on goal, but at the same time you need a robust man in the middle who is also a playmaker and can pass wide or run through the middle. We also need a Viafara type midfielder - big and robust to prevent penetration through the centre against us.
