RoswellSaint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Ssshhhh!! I was going to say something similar but didn't want to tempt fate and make it go all crappy again. Murty to James, crosses in, goes out for Saints corner. Lallana takes and................... punched away by the 'keeper. It is telling me there are 9 hours to kick-off. Works great.
Thedelldays Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 You can't keep saying we don't have wide players - we are playing four in the middle, two of those are "wide", whether you think they're naturally comfortable there or not. James and Lallana should be getting down the line and getting balls in regardless. where have i said we dont have wide players....?
dubai_phil Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Lambert very quiet, Rasiak dangerous in the air, It's great to have oodersfield playing against a big name like Southampton Tight game Good save by KD from Novak The other viewpoint
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 no sheet.. I will bet your bottom dollar that lallana is playing crap also and NOT staying wide...thus creating space as he is a player that would get more attention than others... You are probably right about Lallana..
OfnPanad Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 (From the match) We are very poor. Kelvin has been the difference twice. We don't seem capable of stringing 2 passes together. Zero build-up play. Just cheered a Saints throw-in...says it all!
liquidsnake Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 where have i said we dont have wide players....? you cant play rasiak and lambert (who both do not have pace) and not play real wide players... Simples.
Neilza Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Just a quick one from me, behind the goal at huddersfield. Poor half, great save from Kelvin early on, thomas and perry not looking very good atal! Lambert and ras both quiet but Ras is working harder. Lallana and james ineffective, wotton - less said the better imo.
Block 5 Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Bulletin from Gayfarm. We are so lucky it's still 0-0. Saints have been sh1te. Disorganised hoofing would be a good description. Hopefully Pardew will stick a rocket where it's needed.
Thedelldays Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Simples. did not say we dont have them...just not playing them today...ffs
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Try the Huddersfield commentary no gaps at all and they seem pleasant enough chaps. I can almost understand them Do you have a link Phil?
LaptopSaint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Dare i say it but last season if we'd been playing (by all accounts) pretty poorly, we'd be one or two down at half time away. We're still in this.
Micky Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Judging from the comments of fans that are at the match - things can only get better...!
S-Clarke Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Dare i say it but last season if we'd been playing (by all accounts) pretty poorly, we'd be one or two down at half time away. We're still in this. Exactly. Thats why im quite content with it being 0-0 atm.
