saint lard Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Bristol Rovers fans said at the time of the Lambert move that they will now need a decent penalty taker as Lambert was more than capable in that dept. I'm sure someone can find his penalty conversion record.
saint lard Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Out of Lamberts 29 goals last season 5 were penaltys, not sure how many he missed however,if he missed any.

West End Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 I would have thought you would have to wrestle Rickie to the ground to stop him having pens top goal scorers dont give up the chance from 12 yards he will be the man
Thedelldays Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 He stands at just over 6ft 3 rickie rickie he'll take us to the premier league rickie rickie he gets the ball he takes the p1ss he wears the shirt of matt le tiss rickie lambert southamptons goal machine
SAR Boy Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Wotton took them for Plymouth Didn't he miss one for us last season?
Iowsaintsfan Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Didn't he miss one for us last season? Yeah on my Birthday at home to Watford when he blasted it down the middle and hit the keepers feet, it wasnt a good day
Huffton Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Wotton has got the official hardest shot in the whole league apparently. He should have taken them last season instead of that numpty Mcgoaldrought, not so sure about this year though, probably should be Lambert.
ottery st mary Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Bring back Best or Idiakez for our penalties.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Let Rickie have em. The last time we had a big, strapping, confident striker who was born in the North-West, I seem to remember him being pretty decent at pens ;-)
Thedelldays Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Bring back Best or Idiakez for our penalties. he was superb......the way he finds the top corner is something that will live with me forever..
ottery st mary Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 he was superb......the way he finds the top corner is something that will live with me forever.. They could take pens for England. Lambert or Murty/Harding for me.... COYRs.
SNSUN Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 In Reading's record breaking promotion season a few years ago, they let Musty take a penalty on the last day, because he was the only member of the outfield first XI that hadn't scored a goal all season. He nailed it too. Ergo, I can categorically confirm that I know Musty has taken one penalty successfully. Good enough for me!
Bailey Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Lambert will be our spot-kick taker, make no mistake about it.
