Thedelldays Posted 14 August, 2009 Author Posted 14 August, 2009 Shouldn't that be 'Gunn fired'? good shout
Hatch Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 I wonder how many managers have been sacked after a 4-0 win.
Smirking_Saint Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 Well, lets be fair, his team were definately mis-firing. he was a terrible manager, lets see what happens.
Under Weststand Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 You put your trust in a manager throughout the summer let him Buy/get free transfers & loans, then after 2 games sack him. Then ask someone else to try & get the best from a team he's not put together. Doesn't make sense. Have to say I didn't think he was up to much as a manager, but why let him have control all summer & be in charge of re-building the squad?
mack rill Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 Wonder who pulled the trigger! Bet he was smoking,,,,after just two games an all;)

I do agree, you would sack him before or leave it a little while, surely not long enough now for new manager to assess squad and buy additions

Smirking_Saint Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 I expect he was starring down the barrel for a while
Arizona Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 It's all Gunn wrong for Norwich. So many puns so little time.
bridge too far Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 Maybe they'll start rifling in some goals now and hammer the opposing teams. Who do you suppose they'll have in their sights?

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 I was seriously considering just writing 'Lock Stock and Two flying season tickets' in relation to the fans at the Colchester game, and the gun references. Instead, I think i'll just get my coat.
Robsk II Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Well, at the end of the day, he'll be remembered as a club legend. Hopefully the fans will remember him as a keeper rather than as a manager. Still, if you are going to get a push rather than a shove, you might as well get a record defeat - you know, go out with a bang.
saint lard Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, next gaffer at Norwich?
