You put your trust in a manager throughout the summer let him Buy/get free transfers & loans, then after 2 games sack him. Then ask someone else to try & get the best from a team he's not put together. Doesn't make sense. Have to say I didn't think he was up to much as a manager, but why let him have control all summer & be in charge of re-building the squad?

I do agree, you would sack him before or leave it a little while, surely not long enough now for new manager to assess squad and buy additions

Well, at the end of the day, he'll be remembered as a club legend. Hopefully the fans will remember him as a keeper rather than as a manager.

 

Still, if you are going to get a push rather than a shove, you might as well get a record defeat - you know, go out with a bang.
