Master Bates Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I'm normally on my last legs after a few too.
Doctoroncall Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I'm normally on my last legs after a few too. How many do you have?
Master Bates Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 How many do you have? About 5-8 cans, followed by a brandy, followed by half a pint of wine, with smokes inbetween. Would you like to give me a liver test?
Doctoroncall Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 About 5-8 cans, followed by a brandy, followed by half a pint of wine, with smokes inbetween. Would you like to give me a liver test? I remember those days (not the smoking), now I'd be lucky to get passed pint number three! I'm sure the liver test wouldn't tell you anything you didn't know.
Master Bates Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I'm sure the liver test wouldn't tell you anything you didn't know. Nope, the pain speaks for itself
Marsdinho Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 About 5-8 cans, followed by a brandy, followed by half a pint of wine, with smokes inbetween. Would you like to give me a liver test? Dare you to drink all of that, THEN have a smoke...
Draino76 Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I'll definately do that tonight. I've got an interview today.
Master Bates Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Dare you to drink all of that, THEN have a smoke... I always have one at the end, I sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Thedelldays Posted 13 August, 2009 Author Posted 13 August, 2009 most jock fans are baffled by his sqaud selections...he drops the goal scorers and looks over the better defenders.... sounds soooooo familiar
Thedelldays Posted 13 August, 2009 Author Posted 13 August, 2009 MB all too familiar failings from burley he will never manage in the top flight again in england..
Master Bates Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 MB all too familiar failings from burley he will never manage in the top flight again in england.. Surely he'll never manage in Britain full stop. Maybe he should try Holland, have a go at dutch total football....
Thedelldays Posted 13 August, 2009 Author Posted 13 August, 2009 Surely he'll never manage in Britain full stop. .... fingers crossed
Nadia Sllim Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Stubborn man or should that read stubby man.
mack rill Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I so miss the In Gorge we trust banner. You would lose yet another game only for the sheep to reel it out:D
niceandfriendly Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 It's alright apparently George has said in the next game he'll play Darren Fletcher at right back, Kenny Miller at Centre Mid and he'll bring on a defender with two minutes to go to sort out Scotlands problems. It's worked for him in the past... Lol @ Burley what a clown.
miserableoldgit Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Surely he'll never manage in Britain full stop. Maybe he should try Holland, have a go at dutch total football.... And adopt a Steve Maclaren stylee Dutch accent??
saints_is_the_south Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 It's still not been answered to this day why Burley decided it would be a good idea to drop Rasiak completly after he'd got 20 goals by xmas in the play off season. One of the bizarrest decisions i have ever known of in football.

S-Clarke Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I just read his post-match views, jesus - all you need to do is swap Scotland for Southampton and it's a carbon copy of what he said here. He does have the makings of a good coach, i rated him for how he got us playing at times....but you do really have to question his player management - it's questionable to say the least
Andy_Porter Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I know this...but it will get rubbished and called hear' say PM?
Thedelldays Posted 13 August, 2009 Author Posted 13 August, 2009 it involved Burleys alledged fav after work hobby and rasiak not being happy about aspects of it... im sure it will get rubbished but that is what I was told was the issue...
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Made me laugh when he was going on about banning the players drinking. The words Pot & Kettle spung to mind. lol
Katalinic Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Made me laugh when he was going on about banning the players drinking. The words Pot & Kettle spung to mind. lol He was normally in the Pot & Kettle!

It's an easy conclusion to leap to, but I think that was just down to Burley's bizzare team selections. There have been enough retarded decisions since to make me thing that was just Burley's unique way of doing things.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 I so miss the In Gorge we trust banner. You don't have to, get down there, its a great family day out, driving through the Mendip Hills etc...

L1Minus10 Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 Football is an easy game up to a point. Unless you're a Wenger, Ferguson or Mourinho - you should stick round pegs in round holes, players in their best positions. George either thinks he's clever when he isn't or he does spend the whole time is a p!ssed stupour. He was ****ing useless for us and the Scottish repeat has been soooooo predictable
Huffton Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 it involved Burleys alledged fav after work hobby and rasiak not being happy about aspects of it... im sure it will get rubbished but that is what I was told was the issue... Burley kept nicking his Tyskie?
Saint in Paradise Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 Ah but he has had the "vote of Confidence" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/internationals/8199263.stm
