jam Posted 12 August, 2009 Share Posted 12 August, 2009 As would people buying in advance. I didn't realise the onus was on the customer to make the seller's job easier...
Lets B Avenue Posted 12 August, 2009 Share Posted 12 August, 2009 I tried to sell a spare Kingsland ticket to the idiots at the back of the queue after the game had started. They looked at me as if I had a Millwall scarf on (I didn't) and then one of them said "I want 3 together." followed by another asking for 2. Despite me pointing out that it was unreserved and that 1 of them could go in now and save the others their seats, they were too dense to take the ticket. We really do have some thick ones for fans. I once had some spare tickets for England v Brazil at Wembley. I couldn't even give them away outside the ground. If I'd been asking £100 perhaps theyd've taken them. Block 5 Posted 12 August, 2009 Share Posted 12 August, 2009 I don't understand what all the kerfuffle is about. I had no problems. Got to SMS at 7.15, queued for 5 minutes and got tickets in the Itchen. As we went through the turnstiles the stewards started closing up the gates, apparently it was full. Made it to the bar with plenty of time.
