SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 12 August, 2009 Posted 12 August, 2009 A 720p TV cannot match a 1080p 24fps TV (which the Toshiba is) playing a blu-ray disc. The Toshiba is superb at this and this one has resolution +, which only the top of the range Toshiba's have like my own 46" ZV Toshiba!

Deanovski Posted 16 August, 2009 Posted 16 August, 2009 thats one website...plasmas are better with motion as lcds are the same things used in calculators and aare better for static images. things like video games and footbala re so much better on plasmas they beat LCDS out of the water.

Come round and try it on mine, to see how games should be!!

solentstars Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Yeah nothing matches a plasmas 852KW's a year power consumption, not even a CRT! lolyep its way to much power and runs very hot meaning its more likely to go wrong with all that heat that why i went lcd with less than 170 watt power and 2 watt on standby.
