Who else had Lambert tonight at 4-1 to score first. Ladbroke said they lost up there tonight. I had £25.00 to score first at 4-1. So won a £100.00 got a enough for a new DRUM now. Please look.

I wanted to bet Lambert first and saints to win with Bet365 but they wouldn't take my bet as they said the lambert scoring part would reduce the odds on the saints win, and wouldn't allow me to place the bet grrr

Whatever whoever made the 4/1 decision will be having their balls chewed this morning.

No, they are not bound to carry enough cash to cover every eventuality. That would be a real security risk. They carry enough cash to pay out uncollected bets plus a reasonable float to cover a loss but not a huge loss. They of course will offer other options if they run out of cash on the night such as payment by cheque, pick up your winnings at any Ladbrokes shop or simply pick up at the next game.

4-1 isn't "good odds" for a first goalscorer. It's pretty much the lowest you can get. Ronaldo was always 4-1 at United.

The odds are not that great anyway. He could score 3 or 4 after someone else scores first and you'd win nothing. I do think he's a great bloke to win some money on though. Beattie had a run of games a few years back that people cashed in on. He was never less than 7-2 if i can remember correctly!

Check out Sky Bet for Saturday , i had Lambert at 5/4 to score at any time during the game , he should be a bigger price v better opposition , also saints are a best price 5/2 with blue sq v Huddersfield , seems a big price considering the team are starting to gell .

Had Ruud van Nistelrooy at Utd a few time and he was 5/2 and when he went on that scoring run he was top priced at 3-1 aginst top Prem teams. 4-1 was very overpriced.
