Block 18 Posted 5 September, 2008 Posted 5 September, 2008 This kid is lucky to be alive! But what amazes me is the people who completely ignore it, watch the kid who crosses the road after the bus goes past! And keep your eye on the kid's mate who was about to jump the fence after him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7598674.stm

OttawaSaint Posted 5 September, 2008 Posted 5 September, 2008 Wow, his buddies just cooly walk up to him and pick up his shoes (or whatever it was he picked up and threw to one side). One kid walks up to the railings, has a look, "hmmm nothing to see here" and just walks away. The only ones who seemed to react were the bus driver who stops and the runs back to the kid and the person who ran across the road from the other side. I have to ask thought....WTF was the kid trying to do in the first place? Crazy stuff there.

Pip87 Posted 5 September, 2008 Posted 5 September, 2008 What a total idiot. He may be lucky to be alive this time but given his obvious stupidity there is bound to come a time he won't be so lucky.

Saint_clark Posted 5 September, 2008 Posted 5 September, 2008 I am ashamed to admit i lol'ed! Same. I don't wish that on anyone but FFS, he RAN and JUMPED into the road! Didn't even look.
Saint_clark Posted 5 September, 2008 Posted 5 September, 2008 What also amazes me is the cars that just stay there - either help or f*ck off, don't sit there watching.
Robsk II Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 It's one thing for a kid to get hit through being dozy, but that is monumental retardation.
Saint Martini Posted 6 September, 2008 Posted 6 September, 2008 If he jumps one second earlier he's dead. What a complete moron.
Jesus Reigned Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 TBF I think what actually hurled him into the passing bus was him getting his trailing foot caught on the railings, although that said he would probably have still hit it anyway and it was incredibly stupid!
saint boggy Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 anyone who's been outside of a school at kicking-out time, will have seen this sort of behaviour many times! teenagers are idiots.......7 year olds have more sense when it comes to road safety..
Golden Balls Posted 7 September, 2008 Posted 7 September, 2008 The reaction of everyone around is unbelieveable! I can only asume he was laying there crying so people realised he was pretty much ok. As for what he was doing, he really is a very lucky boy. Unfortunately some kids don't get such massive let offs.
