Pancake Posted 11 August, 2009 Posted 11 August, 2009 Pointless interview or what. Thom Yorke in saying "we will do whatever we want to" shocker.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 They've said that before. Phil Selway was on Breakfast news on Tuesday and they asked him if the 'no more albums' statement was true. He repilied 'Thom always says that when we are mid-way through recording something'. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. They've often talked about just releasing ep's. Fine with me. Alwyas preferred quality to quantity.
Saint_Jonny Posted 13 August, 2009 Posted 13 August, 2009 (IMO!) The most overrated band in british history.
Robsk II Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 (IMO!) The most overrated band in british history. Most wrong statement in British history. OK, maybe not. peace in our time, n' all that.
Ludwig Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 With the leaked track the other day, I am suspicious of this statement by Thom and reckon he's f*cking with the media and that a new LP isn't far off. (Also, he didn't say no albums ever, but that he can't be arsed atm with the process of orchestrating a whole themed driven cohesive LP) (Also, Radiohead are f*cking awesome and anyone who disagrees is a f*cking cretinous philistine)
Rory Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 I wish Thom would shut up. He's becoming as prolific as Chris Martin.

manji Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 (IMO!) The most overrated band in british history. One of the most definitely.
Smirking_Saint Posted 14 August, 2009 Posted 14 August, 2009 Completely over rated, sorry Buzzin' but apart from weirdo they are sh*te. He needs to drag himself out of his own self important ass aswell
Ludwig Posted 16 August, 2009 Posted 16 August, 2009 Listen to Kid A and Amnesiac, properly, then say they're overrated.
thesaint sfc Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Radiohead (L) People who don't like them are silly.
skintsaint Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Radiohead (L) People who don't like them are silly. or have different musical tastes
Pancake Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Completely over rated, sorry Buzzin' but apart from weirdo they are sh*te. Eh?
the stain Posted 17 August, 2009 Author Posted 17 August, 2009 Any bad news? Rock music died with John Bonham.
oldskoolsi Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Listen to Kid A and Amnesiac' date=' properly, then say they're overrated.[/quote'] What is the 'proper' way to listen to them? Put the CD in the player and press play or is it something more profound than that?
scott_saints Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 Completely over rated, sorry Buzzin' but apart from weirdo they are sh*te. They never did a song called Weirdo. The Charlatans did?? You may be thinking of "Creep", however.
Ludwig Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 What is the 'proper' way to listen to them? Put the CD in the player and press play or is it something more profound than that? In a darkened room, huddled in a ball, with earphones playing it loudly.
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 They never did a song called Weirdo. The Charlatans did?? You may be thinking of "Creep", however. I knew it was wrong, thank you for pointing this out young scott. My original sentiments are the same however :smt047
RonManager Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 They never did a song called Weirdo. The Charlatans did?? You may be thinking of "Creep", however. The only C.R.E.E.P. worth listening to is by The Fall.
Junction 9 Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 I find it astonishing that Radiohead can be described as overrated when we have Oasis.
Deppo Posted 17 August, 2009 Posted 17 August, 2009 The only C.R.E.E.P. worth listening to is by The Fall. TLC, I'm afraid.
Saint_Jonny Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 I find it astonishing that Radiohead can be described as overrated when we have Oasis. This man speaks amazing sense.
sotonjoe Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 I knew it was wrong, thank you for pointing this out young scott. My original sentiments are the same however :smt047 And ironically we are now praising the most overrated Radiohead song.
RonManager Posted 18 August, 2009 Posted 18 August, 2009 TLC, I'm afraid. If TLC means what i think it means, then I'm telling Mark E Smith on you
ribbo Posted 19 August, 2009 Posted 19 August, 2009 Thom always comes out with this crap, they will release one again when they get round to it or find a reason to make an album , but until then i will happily put up with a new Thom Yorke album, The Eraser was a work of art imo.
Julian H. Cope Posted 22 August, 2009 Posted 22 August, 2009 Well they did finish third at York the other day, so I suppose a new career is in the offing. That aside, although having a liking for their work I find most Radiohead fans bovine. Yes bovine. They also like young children.
Manuel Posted 25 August, 2009 Posted 25 August, 2009 Paranoid Android is a work of pure art..... Indeed, yet at times distorted. Mooooo.
