niceandfriendly Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 As of an hour ago according to the girl at the ticket office. Not great, hopefully that picks up quite a bit by 7.45pm tomorrow.
saints_is_the_south Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 From David Luker earlier: Sales have rocketed since the signing was announced. The hourly sale rate has doubled. Sales are currently circa 5k, but this will rise dramatically now. What a great signing! We would urge all supporters to get here early tomorrow. You may recall we had a 7k walk-up for Yeovil 2 (or three?) seasons ago. No doubt we are due another busy night tomorrow. We have extra staff onboard throughout the day tomorrow, so anyone needing to collect or buy a ticket may well be wise to get here as early as possible. To help this process, we will stay open at St Marys until 6.30pm tonight. David Luker Head of Supporter Services He also told me that the Northam/Chapel stands will be opened if another 10k tickets are sold.

Perhaps everyone's booking over the phone.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Good to see NC/AO executing commercial nous by the timing of the signing, keep up the good work, a signing 24 hours before every game is very welcome !
jam Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Good to see NC/AO executing commercial nous by the timing of the signing, keep up the good work, a signing 24 hours before every game is very welcome ! You don't think that the fact that we didn't have a striker to put on the bench on Saturday didn't focus minds or wallets then?
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 You don't think that the fact that we didn't have a striker to put on the bench on Saturday didn't focus minds or wallets then? Negotiations have been going on for some weeks so believe we were focused on him, AP's comment Saturday re looking at the bench MAY have been a nudge for someone to get on with it
SFC Forever Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 I don't care how or why. I just care that we now have a striker that can find the back of the net on a regular basis. What price Lambert for top scorer tomorrow and for the season.
RedWillie Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 10K would be a good attendance tomorrow night. IMHO.....
lee_saint Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 10K would be a good attendance tomorrow night. IMHO..... Very much so, for a League Two team....lets hope that Ricky hits the target.
thorpie the sinner Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Very much so, for a League Two team....lets hope that Ricky hits the target. I reckon we will get that!
S-Clarke Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 10K would be a good attendance tomorrow night. IMHO..... Got a feeling it will exceed that. 12-13k is my prediction.
PaulSaint Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 I just bought 5, looking forward to Rickies littlewods cup hatrick a la Shearer!
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 If I was going to Amsterdam for the England match, I would have been there! Hope Lambert impresses!!
ph11be Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 will tickets be available just before the game/cash entry at the turnstiles?
oldsarum Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 will tickets be available just before the game/cash entry at the turnstiles? you'll need to get tickets from the ticket office
Miffy Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Got 5 this afternoon. There were no queues but there seemed to be a pretty steady stream of buyers about 4 o'clock, and there were 4 windows open. 10K for a match and opposition of this type would be a good turnout. IMO.
CLOTH EARS Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 I reckon we will get 13000 plus what Northampton bring.
NickG Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 if you pay on night, do you have to go to ticket office or pay at turnstyle? Going, but not sure whether to go and get ticket
Saf... Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 if you pay on night, do you have to go to ticket office or pay at turnstyle? Going, but not sure whether to go and get ticket pretty sure you have to buy a ticket. very much doubt they'll accept cash on the turnstiles, especially with football league rules.
beatlesaint Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 best get down tomorrow then, cheers Yeah you have to get a ticket from the Ticket Office as I asked a steward the same question at the Hearts game when it was unreserved seating !
Bailey Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Hopefully the club will put some sort of update on the OS tomorrow with regards to how many tickets have been sold. If we can get above 10K, then that's a fair turn-out considering it's a Carling Cup game against League Two oppo.
The Godfather Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 will tickets be available just before the game/cash entry at the turnstiles? Buy at ticket office, no cash at turnstiles.
