Funnily enough, having not bothered coming on here all weekend and not paying much attention to this League for about 20 years I had no idea who he was.

Now I've checked, good signing.

Now that is a sensible signing - although it's a bloody huge fee IMHO!

A poke in the eye for the "there is no money" and the "we've been taken for mugs" brigade.

Do we have a comment (an official comment) on Rasiak's situation? Assume his absence on Saturday and AP's post-match comments about pausity of forwards infers Greg has decided his future lies elsewhere and he won't be in the red and white this season?

Lambert - he's the rough and tough we need up front. Not sure of his quality but I trust AP. I would have liked to see us go after Jermaine Beckford, but hey ho.

Rasiak now to leave perhaps?

Possibly but hopefully not. I've been away so no idea what's been said about Ras, what's the general consensus about his future here? Any hints that he'll stay?

It's great that we've signed Lambert but we need competition, so keeping Rasiak would be just as good as this latest signing.

Not really considering his ability to hit the back of the net, Rovers were not going to let their ace striker depart for £2.50, a picture of Bobby Charlton, a Conker, and half a chewed toffee.

I would say getting hold of him is a bit of a coup, and a big change from the wonky donkeys we have become experts at picking up under the previous regime.

Conkers seem to be in decline...

Superb signing, the two Poles can jog on now!

More signings needed but this shows our intent to have a right go in this league despite the points deduction.

A centre back that wins headers, pace up front and some kind of wide man. Possibly in that order.

it has just crossed my mind that we have not ionly signed a guy with goals in him but we've got someone that actually wants to be here - well I hope that is the case and he han't just come for the extra wedge.
