Colinjb Posted 9 August, 2009 Posted 9 August, 2009 someone was only saying in the pub I work in today that they cant remember the last time they saw a saints owner or even chairman sat in the crowd wit a scarf round his neck!!! come to think of it I cant either! ...it must mean hes proud of his purchase! And just how warm and fuzzy a feeling is that! The guy in charge seems to actually care about the club! Not just the cash.
Pilchards Posted 9 August, 2009 Posted 9 August, 2009 Is it just me or does Mr Liebherr bear a striking resemblence to Dungeon Master? hehe I love it, I knew I had seen that kind of face before and Dune you got it in one!!!
Mr X Posted 10 August, 2009 Author Posted 10 August, 2009 hehe I love it, I knew I had seen that kind of face before and Dune you got it in one!!! My god this is absolutely uncanny! well if they ever make another one Markus is the man!
saintbletch Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 It's like looking at a picture of little kittens. How can anyone not just loooove that guy?! He is everyones favourite granddad (along with Herbie, naturally ;-))... I would sit in his private box and take candy (Swiss chocolate?) from his warm hands and let him pat me on the head while he pointed out the players on the pitch... Muahahaha, this is the Cult of Markus LOL. But surely it's Werther's Originals not chocolate.
Scudamore Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Mike Ashley is just the best owner...he wears a Newcastle shirt to games
greg_hill Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Quick question: does anyone know if ML was a Saints fan before the purchase? Does he have a history of interest in Saints or football in general? I read somewhere he has some offices in Soton, maybe that sparked his interest?

Does he have a history of interest in Saints or football in general? I read somewhere he has some offices in Soton, maybe that sparked his interest? I read that he has always been interested in football and loves to watch it with his familly and has no history of an infinity with saints but fell in love with the club when a friend (probably cortese) reccomended sfc and showed him round and told him of the plight the club has faced over the last four or five years.
alpine_saint Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Is it just me or does Mr Liebherr bear a striking resemblence to Dungeon Master? heheheh
Marsdinho Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Is it just me or does Mr Liebherr bear a striking resemblence to Dungeon Master? At least use a different picture.... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15564
Frank's cousin Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 Well if he becomes a true saints legend and deserves a statue, I hope they never melted the wavey arm.... ;-)
