Robsk II Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 The Canaries look set for a thrilling 6-5 win, then.
S-Clarke Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 It's because gunn is a crap manager. Surprised they kept him on - they've let him spend a fair bit of money, which is utter madness considering that they're lacking finances atm.
PaulSaint Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 He did buy about 78 new players, they'll need time to blend!!!
S-Clarke Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 6-1 lol Leeds 1 - 1 Exeter too ...what a great story that is. (if it stays like that)
S-Clarke Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 2-1 Leeds Oh well - good effort by exeter. and even worse for Norwich 1-7 now. WTF?
Thedelldays Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 6-1 lol Leeds 1 - 1 Exeter too ...what a great story that is. (if it stays like that) why is it a great story...exeter are traditionally a league club and apart from a blip when they went into the conference...they always have been..
St Landrew Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 Bet that Norwich/Colchester result p!ssed Gillingham fans off a tad.
Jimmy_D Posted 9 August, 2009 Posted 9 August, 2009 Bet that Norwich/Colchester result p!ssed Gillingham fans off a tad. I thought that as well! Their time at the top lasted all of what? Two hours?
dubai_phil Posted 9 August, 2009 Posted 9 August, 2009 lol they signed the new Ali Dia in goal? http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25904453-2883,00.html http://norwichcity.futd.com/2009/08/08/norwich-1-colchester-7-yes-thats-seven/ http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/football_league/article6788986.ece
hamster Posted 9 August, 2009 Posted 9 August, 2009 Blimey, that's their worst result EVER!! If I were their chairperson, I'd have been on cooking sherry by half time. And what a gargantuan task it'll be to come back from that. Got to worth 50p on them to lose on Tuesday to Yeovil (away), then off down to Exeter who apparently played quite well against Leeds yetserday.
jeff leopard Posted 10 August, 2009 Posted 10 August, 2009 it was pretty funny watching the reaction of the Norwich fans (on the BBC webpage), from shock, to outrage, to celebrating the Colchester goals. a shocking result but i for one won't be taking too much pleasure from it, karma, and the saints, being the fickle and unpredictable beasts that they are.
skintsaint Posted 12 August, 2009 Posted 12 August, 2009 That game saw Norwich City equal their worst ever defeat, slumping to a 7-1 home thrashing at the hands of Colchester. One young fan was heard on the phone to his sister, saying "Mum I couldn't believe it, if they conceded any more I'd have had to count them on my other hand...
St Landrew Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 And the astounding surprise decision from the Norwich City boardroom is that... Gunn has been fired..! I'm not normally interested in other clubs, but I just wanted to write that. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/8202278.stm
chrisobee Posted 15 August, 2009 Posted 15 August, 2009 After 2 games ! The football world really has gone crazy !
