It's because gunn is a crap manager.

 

Surprised they kept him on - they've let him spend a fair bit of money, which is utter madness considering that they're lacking finances atm.

why is it a great story...exeter are traditionally a league club and apart from a blip when they went into the conference...they always have been..

I thought that as well! Their time at the top lasted all of what? Two hours?

Blimey, that's their worst result EVER!! If I were their chairperson, I'd have been on cooking sherry by half time.

 

And what a gargantuan task it'll be to come back from that. Got to worth 50p on them to lose on Tuesday to Yeovil (away), then off down to Exeter who apparently played quite well against Leeds yetserday.

it was pretty funny watching the reaction of the Norwich fans (on the BBC webpage), from shock, to outrage, to celebrating the Colchester goals.

 

a shocking result but i for one won't be taking too much pleasure from it, karma, and the saints, being the fickle and unpredictable beasts that they are.

That game saw Norwich City equal their worst ever defeat, slumping to a 7-1 home thrashing at the hands of Colchester. One young fan was heard on the phone to his sister, saying "Mum I couldn't believe it, if they conceded any more I'd have had to count them on my other hand...
