BridgnorthSaint Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 I see that Rasiak is not even named as part of the squad so I assume he is off somewhere but Saga is named - Is he staying with us now? Does anyone know anything? Rumours? Appologies if this has been asked before.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 Rasiak is injured. Saga will play simple by virtue that we have nowt else. lets hope he is keen to leave and will therefore be trying to catch the eye of potential buyers
RobM Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 According to Merrington he has been told Rasiak isn't in a good mental state.. I guess that means he doesn't want to be here and that's affecting his ability to play with commitment and put the required effort in? I think Sagga is more professional and will play regardless, even if he would like to move elsewhere.

Time to splash the cash Markus!
brightspark Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 Hopefully we will sign our marquee striker before we let go of Saganowski. For now, he is needed, otherwise we will struggle to score. Paterson needs someone with pedigree to work with up front, and to learn from too.
S-Clarke Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 where was Joseph Mills???? Injured, pulled his hamstring y/d

Merrington also made the stement that if Rasiak and Sag want to move on they need to show what they can do, especially in this league. After all when their agent goes touting for the move if I was a perspective manager i would laugh and say 'They can't even score in L1, what do I want them for?' So, they should get their fingers out, start scoring for fun, show what they can do, **** off at a decent asking price, and let us have benefited from their determinatiuion to score, and spend the money on players that want to be here and score for us.
Bailey Posted 8 August, 2009 Posted 8 August, 2009 It's just my opinion, but if Saga and Rasiak believe they are too good for this division, they should pull their finger out and prove it. If they want their move, they should work their socks off for us and earn their transfer away from the club. I have no problem with them leaving if they don't want to be here, but whilst we're paying their wages, they should honour their contracts and put the effort in.
