Saint in Paradise Posted 7 August, 2009 Share Posted 7 August, 2009 Should she have been left to rot in that prison or brought back to the UK to be kept at your expence for a couple of years ? I think she should have stayed in prison over there, no doubt others won't agree Oh yes and before anyone says what about the poor baby ? She decided to get pregnant whilst in prison just to get off being excecuted not because she really wanted a baby with a bloke she loved. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8188868.stm
nathan Posted 8 August, 2009 Share Posted 8 August, 2009 Let her give birth and then let her rot. She should be made to serve her full sentence but knowing our government, she'll be out soon. There also seems to be a bit of contradiction: 'Orobator admitted trying to smuggle the heroin through Wattay airport in an effort to take it to Australia' Mr Stafford Smith added: "How can we justify throwing someone in prison when we don't even know the basic facts of the case?" The basic facts of the case seem pretty clear to me!!!! She doesn't seem to have ever denied smuggling the drugs.
Dog Posted 8 August, 2009 Share Posted 8 August, 2009 Hang the whore! Why did she get transferred? There are loads of woman in Thai, Laos, Malaysian prisons with babies banged up for smuggling. Very strange?
saint boggy Posted 8 August, 2009 Share Posted 8 August, 2009 (edited) In all fairness tho, she could well have been co-ersed into "admitting" she smuggled the drugs (it wouldn't be unheard of, let's face it!) . And , i hope i'm not alone in this, but i don't see why i should pay my taxes to keep her and her baby locked up for the rest of her life when there are much more dangerous people being released from prison into society every day of the week. A lifelong sentence for drug smuggling is a joke. Drug smuggling is a serious crime, of course it is, but she had less than a kilo on her. Maybe she should face a re-trial here and then be sentenced/aquitted as per OUR laws. :smt102 Edited 8 August, 2009 by saint boggy
