LaptopSaint Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_5475267,00.html Oh I do hope so. Whoever wrote that "the skilful wide-man impressed during his loan spells away from Anfield" is either taking the p1ss or is on drugs.
Arizona Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 I don't think "wide-man" is refering to the possition he plays.
S-Clarke Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 I don't think "wide-man" is refering to the possition he plays. :smt003 ...although he probably would be ''ok'' at this level tbf.
Ash Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 :smt003 ...although he probably would be ''ok'' at this level tbf. ******** would he be anything like OK. Unless he has improved immensely over the last season I wouldn't put him anywhere near the first team; and we really need a right winger. Jermaine Wright had more ability in his right nut then Hammill ever showed here. ****ing useless show pony ****.
Colinjb Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 Shame I remember him making us look like a bunch of c*nts when he played for Blackpool at SMS last year.
SNSUN Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 I'd buy him- because with reports like that, he'd be worth ten times what we pay for him in a year's time!
shurlock Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 Shame I remember him making us look like a bunch of c*nts when he played for Blackpool at SMS last year. Correct - thought he was very good against us last season, though James was still hitting his stride at RB at the time. Its easy to demonise Hammilll's time with us - there were a number of times when he could have kicked on but was thwarted by shots against the bar, odd team selections by Burley and injury. He's a petulant scouse bast*rd, so when things didn't go his way, he sulked but its not hard to imagine how he could have been a success.
NickG Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 Shame I remember him making us look like a bunch of c*nts when he played for Blackpool at SMS last year. you are joking aren't you? He was sh1t, for us and then for them. One of the very worst players I have seen for us. Pleased he will be in this division
a1ex2001 Posted 6 August, 2009 Posted 6 August, 2009 He looked brilliant for us in pre-season and I had high hopes only to be disapointed by his amazing pie eating ability. Still think he would do a decent job at this level if motivated and kept away from the lard.
ottery st mary Posted 6 August, 2009 Posted 6 August, 2009 Ham is doing very well at the moment....Down 2 stone over the summer....Weighs in at 19 stone now.....Keep up the good work Desperate Dan.
Hopkins Posted 6 August, 2009 Posted 6 August, 2009 Blackpool fans like him. He did well for them, especially against us last season. His finest moment has to be sat in The Cork and Bottle pub, watching the league cup final between Chelsea and Spurs with Andrew Davies and there gf's. He started a rendition of "Theres only one Andrew Davies" which only me and him joined in with in the whole pub. Davies was loving it. Neither could keep a straight face when they tried explaining my theory that Jason Euell was horrific was wrong. Hammil ****ing himself with laughter when Davies tried claiming Euell was a good player. Top bloke. Fit missus and a decent enough winger. Bet he does well for Leeds.
dellgirl Posted 6 August, 2009 Posted 6 August, 2009 I wish him well I thought he did a good job for us and got better away from Burley speaking of him ..a bit rich banning the Scottish team from drinking, but still whinging on as he did with us,too many injuries, not playing as well as they should, when will everyone understand he is a very poor manager and does not command respect from the players or anyone else. New era we now have a goody and will go far.

Think I understand now why he developed such a beergut and played as though he was permanently ****ed!
