As every post-administration Saints supporter knows - it's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts. I also see that there have been some changes this year. Emergency captains, roll-over transfers and private head-to-head leagues. So with these new tools at my disposal this year I will definitely finish in mid-table mediocrity.

In my experience it's the best way to maintain an interest in the goings on in the Premiership ( until we return ) and provides a year's worth of banter with the mates in your league(s).

If an ADMIN of the forum wants to take over as I cannot post threads then let me know your user and team name and I will make you admin. There are 3 pages of teams signed up already. You get added to the league automatically if you were already in it last year!

Prob won't get another chance for the rest of the season though. Lol. Just read the past post with code and joined that today but not ranked yet. Anyone know if my scores from yesterday will be included or do I start from 0?

westofshannonsaint Posted 22 August, 2010 Posted 22 August, 2010 this team has go 55 points this week with Evans, Valencia, & Carroll still to play, & I have 135 points so far (10th in SaintsWeb league) I don't want to use my wild card yet...tempted to take a points hit.... Defense; Mouyokolo (wolves £4M) has not played yet & Higginbotham (stoke £4.5m) did not play today (only got 1pt in gw1). I'm regretting not signing Baptiste and Al-Muhammadi instead but what can you do? I need to strengthen my defence. Midfield; I would like to drop Arteta for Bale, which would free up £1.9m & allow me change Petrov for Ireland*. I'm also thinking about swapping Valencia* with Scholes* which would free up more cash. Forwards; after watching MOTD Odemwingie/Elmander/Fuller could be a good replacement for Carroll*. decisions, decisions, decisions.... all opinions welcome... *=not played yet & I probably wont transfer in/out before they do.
