hamster Posted 3 August, 2009 Share Posted 3 August, 2009 Sorry if you find this morbid, but what songs would you have at your wake? Sentimental, sombre, poignant, a bit of hell for leather rock or even just plain funny. Imagine you are creating a folder on your ipod named 'only to be played in the event of my death'. Bearing in mind that your wake should be a celebration of YOUR life.
hamster Posted 3 August, 2009 Author Share Posted 3 August, 2009 I'll have this little ditty at some point in the proceedings, probably save it for when people are drifting off home: Man of The World - Fleetwood Mac
RedAndWhite91 Posted 4 August, 2009 Share Posted 4 August, 2009 (edited) I take it you want Russell Abbott's rendition of Atmosphere at your wake, hamster. I would want White Man In Hammersmith Palais by the Clash because it's probably my favourite song, ever. Followed by a bit of Joy Division's Atmosphere. Then Sid Vicious' version of My Way for comic effect, ending up with Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It would be a right knees up at my wake. Would you like me to look after your girlfriend after you are gone RAW? I could teach her to dance.

Hahaha should I be worried this 'looking after' thing has now spread to two threads?! Anyway, she's not technically my girlfriend, it's a bit complicated, I won't go into the details! But I guess after I'm gone everyone is welcome to do what they like, but I still got a good few years ahead of me yet Oh and she knows how to dance already anyway

And because of that I won't go into details, as it's a fairly long story and I plain and simple can't be arsed! Maybe if we ever happen to meet in a pub after a game I could regale you with the tale after a few beers, but other than that, I'm not spilling my teenage adventures on a forum
