Also called L'instinct de mort, a biopic charting the rise and fall of France's one time public enemy no. 1, Jacques Mesrine, a ruthless and prolific bank robber and jail breaker operating in the 60s and 70s.

This should be an entertaining couple of hours. Looking forward to it.

Does look interesting. Part one out Aug 7th and part two out on 28th.

Also look out for Kathryn Bigelow`s "The Hurt Locker". Looks to be VERY good.

Yep, I'll keep on the lookout for this one. I quite like Kathryn Bigelow; loved films like Strange Days (not do keen on Blue Steel), but the first thing I remember her doing was that TV mini series Wild Palms.

Mesrine: Killer Instinct was excellent. A real Tour de forse from Vincent Cassell.

Also, if you pick up a flyer from Harbour Lights and attach your ticket from Killer Instinct you get 2 for 1 on the second part which is on from 28th August....Can't wait!!!!

Well, Mesrine: Public Enemy No 1 was good, but wasn't quite as captivating as the first part, due in part I suppose to the fact that you knew what would happen in the the end.

Nevertheless it charts the increasingly violent and political latter years of Mesrine's life and you even start to feel some kind of sympathy for him on occasion.
