jam Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 How would a drum improve the slow version of OWTS? It might help them keep time...
Polaroid Saint Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 No to drums, yes to flares. Corduroy or otherwise. Having said that; I could bring my 303 and a small PA and I'm sure I could produce some rather spcial beats. ;-) Block 5 - I think that you'll find that 'language' (verbal constructs to comunication) has existed since before mankinds ability to construct a drum, just a small point!?!? :-)
Joensuu Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 Drums are a superb idea... they would complement the half-time entertainment, crap beer and music after goals... If only they'd put some teen movies on the big screens for people who aren't interested in the footie, and perhaps sell corn dogs, and have jugglers for the kids? Almost the perfect 'matchday experience' for SFC 'customers' such as us...
September Saint Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 some one actualy understands what i want! with all these other people just dont want it. i bet there all like 50 year olds. to much noise.. Judging by your spelling and grammer I would bet you're probably 50 months old No Drums!
dickyhale Posted 4 August, 2009 Author Posted 4 August, 2009 ...well...there may be some merit in this idea if young Dicky takes his drum in the Chapel, it may just wake 'em all up down there! ...and Dicky, if you get your dad to go with ya you'll get in for free! Simples. northam. season ticket holder. row cc seat 1099. cya
dickyhale Posted 4 August, 2009 Author Posted 4 August, 2009 Judging by your spelling and grammer I would bet you're probably 50 months old No Drums! i think you about 500 months old you silly old f4rt.
Toadhall Saint Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 northam. season ticket holder. row cc seat 1099. cya But are you taking a drum?
RedAndWhite91 Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 northam. season ticket holder. row cc seat 1099. cya Brilliant. I am 5 rows higher, nearly to the seat (1087 for me). I will have to listen to this drum all season.

When I said drum, I of course meant any kind of percussive instrument: such as two pieces of wood, or two stones etc..... I think it highly likely that our ancestors were discovering and enjoying rhythms (possibly even, as a means of communication) before they were using 'verbal constructs'.
dune Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 northam. season ticket holder. row cc seat 1099. cya Bring the drum and you'll end up wearing it because i will smash it over your head.
smithy Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 Drums would be seriously cr@p, a very bad idea. We don't need gimmicks like that. Our fans are more than capable of creating a good enough atmosphere without tacky rubbish.
Fan The Flames Posted 4 August, 2009 Posted 4 August, 2009 What about a big American organ. Na ne na naa naa Defence.
dickyhale Posted 4 August, 2009 Author Posted 4 August, 2009 fine then i wont bring the drum just a waste of 120 pounds.

hamster Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 ..., and have jugglers for the kids.... That's killed this thread, now that someone's gone for the juggler. I'll beat it now.
skintsaint Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 I'll beat it now. dont do that over kids, can get you in a bit of trouble these days.
Dan Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 NO. The back boards work well enough, drums are for teams that cant make an atmosphere themselves. Like Bmuff and Blackburn.
September Saint Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 i think you about 500 months old you silly old f4rt. I wish! Obviously maths isn't your strong point either.
