Used to sell that sort of stuff in Halfords, back in the day. It's not quite as easy as it used to be to fit on though, I'm sure. It used to be a case of splicing into a couple of wires, one live, one earth and one on the distributor cap. I bet it's a nighmare now.

I suppose getting a set of clocks from a scrapped GTi wouldn't work, no?

 

Don't do it. It was bad enough changing a bulb behind the dials. Fecking french piece of ****.

 

Why do you need a rev counter anyway? Will you forget to change gear without one?
