Tac-tics Posted 2 August, 2009 Posted 2 August, 2009 If you have the application steam, the games works with out a data disc in the computer. Does the disc actually make a difference if I kept it in while playing? Just curious.
gonzo Posted 5 August, 2009 Posted 5 August, 2009 The disc being in the drive makes no difference at all. It's there purely to validate that you actually own a genuine copy of the game. That said, I don't have steam installed, and I don't need to have the disc in the drive to play it. It'll start up without it, as I found out the other day.
