Secret Site Agent Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I think he is Howling mad and hangs around with a guy that loves it when a plan comes together
Secret Site Agent Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Doesn't he play bass guitar with the Gorillaz?
Dazza82 Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I remember his name from when he was at wimbledon that was when they were changing to mk dons, cant remember much else about him though
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I think he is Howling mad and hangs around with a guy that loves it when a plan comes together Considering that Murdoch is also a goalkeeping coach I'd say that the plan is starting to come together. The good thing now is that all the news seems to be positive. I love it!
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 But do you Pitty the Fool? I haven't an ounce of pitty in my body.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 ex A-Team? But do you Pitty the Fool? V.good
eesti matty Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I was coached by him after he got sacked as reserve team manager at Watford. He used to be a goalkeeper and has good ideas about coaching. He seems to be a passionate and dedicated guy.
Lets B Avenue Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Lead singer and songwriter of Belle & Sebastian.
bigtonesfc Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Part of a horrible drink i believe..Dandelion and murdoch!
Badger Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Wasn't he the subject of a Scots disco song a few years ago ? Murdoch on the dancefloor ? As we seem to know f^ck all about him,it seems less likely that anyone can name any gems our new scout has unearthed. But there is no telling the info some on here can come up with.
Psycrow Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I find this quite strange actually. Wilkins was supposed to be Assistant Manager and Chief Scout. The official site still say so, here http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1739664,00.html Paragraph 2.. "Wilkins, 47, joins Southampton as Assistant Manager and Chief Scout and brings with him a wealth of experience from his time as both a player and a coach."
positivepete Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Rupert? Hope not, I think a previous manager of ours once said something like no one called Rupert could possibly know anything about football.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 I don't think he was on Rupey's wish list last season - I think that was Stuart Baxter. Was at Bmth with Joe Roach when he was Caretaker.

itchen_dan Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 He was the bloke warming Kelvin and Bart up before the Hearts game! Me and my mate spotted him and wondered who it was. We wondered where Keith Grainger had gone because he had done it in every other friendly so far.
itchen_dan Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Interesting to see his other previous career moves. In July 2005 he was goalie coach at Bournemouth. Then in Jan 08 he became chief scout at Millwall after another coaching job at Norwich where he lasted 4 DAYS!!!. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Murdoch_(football_manager)
Paul Chuckle Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Wasn't he Wilmbledon caretaker manager when they got relegated at The Dell in 2000????
eesti matty Posted 1 August, 2009 Posted 1 August, 2009 Wasn't he Wilmbledon caretaker manager when they got relegated at The Dell in 2000???? Nope, that was Terry Burton who then managed Wimbledon and then had spells at Watford and Cardiff as assistant manager.
