TBH, if someone is going to entice a retired keeper, through injury i may add back into football they must be desperate.

No, according to their own website, this is about wanting to send the other 2 reserve keepers out on loan to give them experience for when James retires. Niemi is coming in as #2 keeper for this season ahead. If he still cuts the mustard, then Poopey will benefit. If he has lost the old magic, they'll have to get one of the loanees back pdq.

I just hope he is thick-skinned enough to take the abuse they will heap on him when James legs it as it starts going awry, which it will. If i was England manager and i saw my Number one shipping loads of goals i would put it down to poor form and would advive him to move to have any hope of making WC squad, i would say the same if he was at any other club that was looking like struggling this season
