Fact of the day, I once saw a Spanish teenager on the tube with really long nose hairs that he had shaped into inverted cone shapes. At first I though it was some kind of piercing, but on closer inspection (this was the tube, bear in mind, so I was very close for a long time) they were hairs. Farking strange fellow. Smelled a bit ripe too.

Some nail scissors followed by about 4 tissues to blow your nose to get all the nasal hair fragments out seem to do it for me. Bizarrely my left nostril seems to get 10 times as much nasal hair as my right nostril, no idea why.

 

PS Best to wash the nail scissors afterwards.

Having hit 40 I get extra long nasal hairs that are white rather than the usual black ones. They start higher up my nostrils and are therefore more satisfying to pluck with my special extraction tool as I get an extra sneeze out of it.
