not necerssarily nice.... but interesting

Seriously, a few years ago we went to stay with some friends who live in Edinburgh. They offered to take us to 'the best Italian in the city'.

I ordered a lasagne and it came with chips!

I love lasagne - I love chips. But together? No tx :(

Lasagne and chips is brilliant, I love it.

I went to a restaurant in the Isle of Wight, and ordered curry, and it came with chips one side of the curry, and rice the other side. I thought I died and went to heaven. Amazing.

I didn't realise lasagne and chips was unusual.

I have been having that for years, thought it was commonplace.

i suppose its normally served with Garlic Bread and salad in a restaurant though...(especially and ITALIAN restaurant!)
